The development of logistics industry can promote the rationalization of industrial layout, adjust and drive regional economic development, gather information flow, business flow, capital flow, etc.,and then lay a good foundation for regional economic development as a whole. Therefore, the spatial linkage and logistics network construction of regional logistics have become an important research direction, while the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is one of the central region urban agglomerations approved by the State Council, which is the inland hinterland support of the "belt and road" strategy, and the ladder Development Zone to undertake the transfer of eastern industry and western industry. It is of great strategic significance to promote the development of logistics industry of Central Plains Urban Agglomeration for the economic development of central China. In this paper,30 cities in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration are taken as the research unit, and from the perspective of system theory, the regional logistics development level, spatial connection pattern and hub-and-spoke logistics network of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration are analyzed in turn according to the elements of spatial structure "node, channel and area".First, the construction of the logistics evaluation index system of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is carried out from four aspects: the level of urban economic development, the level of logistics informatization, the level of logistics supply and demand, and the logistics infrastructure;Second,entropy-Topsis method is used to evaluate the logistics development level of 30 cities, calculate the comprehensive scores of each city’s logistics, and explore its evolution pattern;Third, using the improved gravitational model, based on the regional logistics development evaluation index system and the determined comprehensive logistics distance, the potential energy, maximum gravitational lines, and spatial connections between the cities of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration in 2006,2011,and 2016,respectively analysis of the network structure, revealing the characteristics of regional logistics spatial connection in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration; Then, the K-means clustering method and membership function are used to classify the city nodes, and the axis city and its radiation range are selected; Finally, based on the theory of hub-and-spoke network, the logistics circle of Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is constructed and analyzed. The conclusions are as follows:(1)The development of regional logistics in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration centers on the axis cities and spreads outwards. The logistics development level of each city in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration shows a trend of increasing year by year, which indicates that the logistics scale of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is increasing year by year, and its distribution shows a relatively stable evolution feature. The logistics development level shows a trend of taking each axis city as the center and expanding to the surrounding node cities.(2)The spatial relationship of regional logistics in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is characterized by "core edge" structure. This paper analyzes the potential energy of logistics connection, the maximum gravitation line and the evolution of spatial network structure of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration from the time dimension. It is found that the potential energy of logistics connection among the urban nodes of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration is continuously enhanced, showing a strong directivity of the central city and the neighboring cities.Central Plains Urban Agglomeration has initially formed an area with the axis of "Zhengzhou-Handan" as the core. The trend of logistics connection spreading to peripheral edge cities shows obvious "core-edge" characteristics in spatial structure.(3)The Central Plains Urban Agglomeration constitutes a hub-and-spoke logistics network with coordinated development of four major logistics circles.Based on the K-means clustering results and the development status of each city, the paper identifies the logistics center city according to the theory of hub-and-spoke network, and determines Zhengzhou as the first level axis city,Handan,Luoyang and Shangqiu as the second level axis city, and then constructs four logistics circles: Zhengzhou logistics circle,Handan logistics circle,Luoyang logistics circle and Shangqiu logistics circle, forming the hub-and-spoke logistics network pattern. On this basis, this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for the logistics development of the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration.
