With the advent of a new era,banks are facing increasingly severe pressure and challenges.How to use talents effectively to win superiority in fierce market competition has become the key to bank development.Tellers who direct contact with the customer are the focus of the bank's attention.Bank tellers often face great pressure in the work.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of the work pressure of tellers on job performance,in order to sort out the current pressure on the tellers of the X Bank,and provide guidance for improving the work performance of tellers.Based on qualitative and quantitative research methods,this article uses SPSS 17.0 software for statistical analysis and draws the following conclusions.Through qualitative analysis,the pressure faced by the X Bank tellers mainly comes from the work itself,narrow promotion channels,strict assessment system,and pressure from corporate culture and interpersonal relationships.In the face of stress,the physical and mental health of the tellers is harmed and has an impact on the performance of the work.When the pressure is too great or the work performance is too poor,the teller will be forced or actively choose to transfer to work or leave.At the same time,moderate work pressure also has a benign influence and will promote job performance.Through quantitative analysis,the biggest pressure faced by the X Bank teller comes from the task itself,mainly due to work overload,heavy tasks,tight tasks,and overtime.The minimum dimension of work pressure is the work role,and the position of the teller of the X Bank is relatively clear.The order of pressure in each dimension of work pressure is:task itself,organizational structure,career development,interpersonal relationships,family-work interaction,job roles.For the overall work pressure,the X Bank teller's work pressure is at an intermediate level in the industry.As for the impact of the work pressure of the X Bank teller on the work performance itself and its dimensions,the pressure of the work task itself has a significant negative effect on the task performance,interpersonal promotion and job performance.Job role pressure has a significant negative effect on task performance,work dedication,interpersonal promotion,and job performance.Interpersonal stress has a significant negative effect on interpersonal promotion.Organization structure and organizational trend pressure have a significant positive effect on task performance.Organizational structure and organization-oriented pressure have significant negative effects on work dedication,interpersonal promotion and job performance.Family-work interaction stress has a significant negative effect on task performance,work dedication,interpersonal promotion and job performance.Work pressure has a significant negative impact on work dedication,interpersonal promotion and job performance.Finally,this article puts forward six countermeasures to improve the performance of the teller of the X Bank.These suggestions are:to improve working conditions,to ease the pressure of the task itself;to clarify job responsibilities,to ease the pressure on the role of the work;to establish a clear career development channel,encourage cashiers to work hard;to establish a good communication mechanism,create a harmonious working atmosphere;improve performance assessment and incentive system,improve the work efficiency of tellers;pay attention to family influence factors and strengthen the organization of humane care.
