With the development of our country's economy,the people's demand for food quantity has gradually turned into a qualitative improvement,and the accelerated dissemination of information has also made food quality and safety events a widespread concern in society.In order to reduce food safety risks and reduce food safety crisis incidents,food safety supervision work has gradually become more difficult,and new challenges and new requirements have been put forward for national governance capabilities.At present,China has initiated a new round of reforms in its food safety supervision and management system.The construction of a food safety legal system is gradually being improved with the Food Safety Law as the center.The food safety risk management thinking has been proposed in the newly revised Food Safety Law.Due to the uncertainties and multiple risks,the application of food safety risk management by the regulatory authorities has just begun,and it is still in the stage of crossing the river.Based on the theoretical basis of public governance and food safety risk management,this paper analyzes the relationship between them,and analyzes the current status of food safety risk management in Nanyang City,analyzing the existence of food safety risk management in Nanyang from four aspects.Problems:(1)The government's regulatory system has its own problems;(2)The lack of corporate awareness of their own responsibilities and integrity management system has not been established;(3)The weakening of market governance capabilities;(4)The lack of social prevention capabilities.On this basis,the article draws on advanced practices in risk management in other parts of the country and proposes several suggestions for the prevention of food safety risks in Nanyang City:(1)Utilize the leading role of the government,establish a food safety risk management concept system,and establish multiple linkages Food safety risk management information system;(2)Standardize corporate governance behavior,strengthen corporate credit system and construction of risk traceability system;(3)Improve market governance capacity,guide the marketization of food inspection and inspection areas,and strengthen industry self-regulation;(4)Increase public participation and form food safety Risk management information disclosure mechanism to optimize public participation in food safety risk management.
