The 21 st century is the century of informatization.Information resources and information technology are the most important driving forces for economic development in all countries of the world, and they are the basis for the expansion and reproduction of society.China's electronic information industry has seized the opportunity of global IT industry division and transnational transfer, exerted comparative advantages, achieved a historic leap from emerging industries to pillar industries and national economy-led industries, and became one of the important industries of China's national economy. From 2005 to 2015,the total import and export volume of China's electronic information industry accounted for more than 30% of the total volume of China's import and export trade. This shows that the electronic information industry plays an important role in China's import and export trade. As an adjustment lever, exchange rate plays a very important role in international trade. Therefore,There is also a certain relationship between RMB exchange rate and China's electronic information industry's import and export trade.Since the implementation of the exchange reform in China in July 2005,the total import and export trade of electronic information products in China has increased year by year.As an important part of China's import and export trade, the electronic information industry plays a decisive role in promoting China's economic growth. Therefore,Studying the impact of RMB exchange rate on the development of China's electronic information industry's import and export trade is of great significance.First, this paper analyzes the structure and current situation of China's electronic information industry, and gets the development trend of China's electronic information industry.Second, through basic theoretical analysis,we will know the impact of RMB exchange rate changes on China's electronic information industry's import and export trade. In the empirical aspect,we use quarterly import and export data from 2005 to2015 as an analysis sample, and select RMB exchange rate during this period as the dependent variable, the sum of GDP of China's GDP and GDP of major exporting countries of electronic information products in China as control variables, and analyze the data through unit root test, cointegration analysis,VAR model and IRF response function.Research shows that in the import and export trade of China's electronic information products, with the depreciation of the RMB exchange rate, the trade volume of the import processing trade and the incoming processing and assembling trade are gradually decreases, and the trade volume of warehousing re-exports in the generaltrade and bonded areas has gradually increased along with the depreciation of the RMB exchange rate, which obtained by the statistical analysis of the trade volume of the main trade modes of China's electronic information industry. From the statistical analysis of the trade volume of China's major electronic product import and export products,it is concluded that because of the high value-added features of computer products, their trade volume does not change significantly with changes in exchange rates.Through the measurement and analysis of the total amount of import and export of China's electronic information industry,it is concluded that the impact of RMB exchange rate changes on China's electronic information industry's export trade has a lagged effect. The appreciation of the RMB exchange rate can effectively improve China's trade balance, because the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate can reduce the import and export of China's electronic information industry. In addition, through regression model analysis, the coefficient of influence of the sum of GDP of major exporters of electronic information products on China's exports of electronic information products is 2.86,which means that for every 1% increase in the sum of GDP of major exporting countries, the export volume of electronic information products in China will be raised. It will increase by 2.86%,and its effect will be more significant. This shows that seeking common development for the economy can benefit all countries in the trade. Finally,We put forward some suggestions to promote the trade of China's electronic information industry by the previous theoretical analysis and empirical tests.
