Research Of Six Sigma Management In Worsted Enterprises

With the development of the global economy and the intensification of market competition,Enterprises are facing with many pressures from domestic and international,inside and outside the industry.The enterprises can no longer be much more competitive by lower the labor or material cost.The enterprises can only survive with high quality products,lower producing cost and standardized corporate culture by improved management;it also makes the enterprises to be more competitive.Therefore,some enterprises begin to look for the advanced management in the world,and combine with the characters of themselves,try to be more competitive on quality and cost,to achieve better position in the market.Considering this,Six Sigma management was introduced into domestic market,and applied to the fields of machinery,electronics,steel and aerospace.In the textile industry,however,due to the specialty of textile industry,very few companies used Six Sigma management.Therefore,it is of great significance to study its application in textile enterprises.Six Sigma management integrates the Six Sigma project management,lean production and robust design.It focuses on improving the overall efficiency of the process,identifying and optimizing the main reason of problem by using some methods and tools,to solve the problem,and to control and keep improved results.This paper discusses the related theories and methods of Six Sigma management.This paper mainly includes the following parts: firstly,it introduces the origin and development of Six Sigma management,as well as the implementation of some enterprises domestic and abroad;Secondly,the Six Sigma management and the tools and methods of DMAIC process application are introduced.Then it studies the application of Six Sigma management in a worsted textile enterprise in Jiangsu Province,and analyzes the problems existing in a special product.A series of methods are used,including FMEA,control chart and variance analysis,2-sample T-test,factorial design,Response surface methodology and Taguchi method and Minitab software.In order to solve the problems,we can find out causes of problems and optimize production process according to the DMAIC;finally,the conclusion and further research direction of the paper are given.
