Study On The Characteristics Of Land Use Behavior And Its Impact On Regional Poverty

In the time-background of new rural construction and developing targeted poverty alleviation,the economic development of poor regions has become a hot issue at present.It is significant for improving farmland use benefits,helping low-income people alleviate and reduce poverty,facilitate regional rural economy development to make a microscopic investigation study on peasants' behaviors of land use.On that account,by questionnaire survey,documentations,PCA(principal component analysis),MLRA(multiple linear regression analysis)and other scientific methods,this dissertation chose peasants of three typical towns to fill out questionnaire and analyzed land transfer,crop planting selection,multiple cropping index respectively,discussed peasants' land use behaviors influence on regional poverty to find the relationship between the behaviors and regional economic development level so that proper land use can be rightly guided and facilitate poverty alleviation and reduction of poor households when the regional land resources are effectively utilized.The research results are as follow:(1)There is a certain correlation between land use status and poverty in the county.Due to large relief of the northeast,regional land use is rather limited,and most of the area are mainly composed of forest land development with less plow land,which makes,regional economic development level of western and southern Cangxi county apparently higher than that of the north and east.(2)The influences of ways and degree of farming land use in different regions on poverty are different.In Lingjiang town as a suburban area,rural non-agricultural labor force is relatively more,idle or inefficient land has a wide distribution.On the one hand,actual wage income gained by non-farm labor is not high.However,in Yongning town,an exurb far away from the county seat,the non-farm labor's working distance cost is higher so that the majority of farmers have to choose farming at home,and partly accept land circulation or tend to cultivate economic crops.In addition to the traffic location advantage of Yongning town,a portion of local farmers get higher yield,which improves the farmers' family economic level.(3)The education background of farmers in the survey area is generally low and the willingness of land transfer is not strong.Among them,people in the sample data with primary school education background or below account for more than 80% of the total and transfer land less.Most of the poor households mainly grow food crops.(4)The difference in land use behavior of farmers is strongly correlated with their individual characteristics.The age,education background and thinking logic of the householder have a great influence on the whole family economic level.In the poor household samples,most farmer householders with relatively high education background are below 45 years old while in poor sample,most of the householders' ages vary from 50 to 70,and their education background is low.The householders has the decision-making influence on the whole family land use behavior and their ages,literacy can decide its thinking logic in the production,thus affect the income level of the whole family.(5)There is positive correlation or negative correlation between the land use behavior of different farmers and poverty.Among them,there is a certain positive correlation between the planting area and poverty,and there is also a certain negative correlation between the area of economic crop cultivation and poverty.There is a negative correlation between the compound index of agricultural land and poverty.However,there is a relatively strong negative correlation between the land circulation area and poverty.
