The Competitiveness Of Chongqing Mice Industry Under The New Normal Based On Potter Diamond Model

For a long time,conference and exhibition industry has always been deemed as the "barometer" of regional economical development,which plays more and more important role in driving and guiding economic and social development.Since Chongqing has become the municipality,depending on the superior geographic location and relationship,all professions and trades have achieved spectacular achievements.Chongqing conference and exhibition industry has also made great progress,enjoying the reputation of "exhibition capital" nationwide,becoming one of the supporting industries of Chongqing economic growth.With the deepening of the supply-side structural reform,the construction of the Yangtze river economic belt and the construction of the "silk road" economic belt,the overall requirements for the inland open highland construction,and the formation of economic "New Normal",Chongqing conference and exhibition industry has once again ushered in unprecedented development and reform opportunities and sustainable innovative development challenges.Under the new development environment,how to adapt to the "New Normal" and the new situation become the key issues for the future healthier and better development of Chongqing exhibition industry.By making a detailed analysis of Chongqing exhibition industry,and putting forward specific suggestions for the development shortage,this paper aims at promoting the better development of Chongqing exhibition industry in the reform tide.By analyzing domestic and international exhibition industry development course and the characteristics and development directions of the "new normal" exhibition industry,on the basis of based on Porter's diamond theory,using literature induction method,quantitative and qualitative methods,this paper comprehensively analyzes the development basic situation of Chongqing exhibition industry,and works out corresponding statistics.By introducing the diamond theory,combining with the selected data,data analysis has been made and conference and exhibition competitiveness has been evaluated and contrasted.researching the competitiveness evaluation and comparative analysisBased on the diamond theory,this paper generally considers the development conditions of Chongqing exhibition industry are good,and possesses a certain competitiveness.However,compared with the traditionally strong districts such as Shanghai,Guangdong,Beijing etc.,there still are obvious gaps in some respects.Several aspects including talents cultivation,utilization efficiency of venues,brand cultivation,information construction,innovation and development mode etc.need to be constantly optimized and improved.Only by doing this competitiveness of Chongqing conference and exhibition industry can be better promoted,leading the city sustainable and better development.
