The Comparative Study Of Resource Integration Patterns Of Returnee Entrepreneurs In Wenzhou City Longwan District

Returnee entrepreneurs play important roles in Zhejiang economic transition.However,a large number of returnee entrepreneurs failed since they did not take appropriate resource integration patterns.This paper applies case study method and method of comparative analysis to dissect resource integration patterns of three successful high-tech returnee firms,whose entrepreneurs are listed in the Recruitment Program of Global Experts in Wenzhou City,Longwan District.The three firms take three different resource integration patterns,which are the effectuation resource integration pattern,the causation resource integration pattern,and the effectuation & causation resource integration pattern.However,the three patterns have something in common,that is human resource plays a core role in the process of resource integration because it is a scarce resource and key of sustained competitiveness in high-tech industry.Five causes are target customers,the adequacy of financial resources,the adequacy of technology resources,the stability of market demand,the characters and age grades of entrepreneurs,and influence the five dimensions in Effectuation/Causation Theory,which result in the three diverse resource integration patterns.Then the paper further explores the resource integration mechanisms from three angles,which are the applicability of the three resource integration patterns,the causes of the two financial resource origin patterns and the ways of localization of the two unique resources,and gives suggestions on returnee entrepreneurs' resource integration.According to Effectuation/Causation decision-making logic,this paper delves into different types of resource integration patterns,their causes and mechanisms from resource integration angle,which contributes to the theories of returnee entrepreneurs' resource integration and guides returnees to successfully set up business.
