Scholars in the organizational culture domain were striving for several decades to create the most reliable tool for quantitative assessment of organizational culture.After the "paradigm wars" in the 80s',researchers proposed multiple tools and scales for assessing organizational culture.Although several frameworks were accepted by the majority of scholars as adequate methods,they still possess certain limitations.This content analytic exploratory study aims to propose a new approach to organizational culture research by combining a very classical method--Organizational Culture Profile instrument-and web-based content analysis.By transforming OCP values set to a coding scheme and implementing it for analysis of video game industry online job advertisements was discovered that,this approach will allow to explore organizational culture values using external data.This study introduces new approach of using classical culture assessment instrument which creating opportunities for further research. |
