With the continuous development of society and economy and the improvement of people's living standard,tourism has become the first choice of modern people for leisure and vacation.The industrial status and strategic significance of tourism have also drawn great attention in all countries in the world.Since the reform and opening up in 1978,the tourism industry in our country has maintained a high speed and sustained development.The tourism industry has been increasingly noticed both in academia and in practice.Tourism has gradually become an important stage in displaying the "soft power" in a country and region.Driven by economic globalization and regional integration,regional tourism has become a hot spot of concern.No one tourist destination can exist in isolation.The development of tourism industry must compete and cooperate with other tourist destinations.However,the competition or cooperation of pure regional tourism can not meet the needs of the rapid development of regional tourism in our country.For the development of regional tourism,competition is inevitable,and cooperation is imperative.Therefore,in order to achieve the sustainable development of regional tourism,tourist places must strengthen their contact and cooperation and optimize Regional tourism system,in order to seek common development of the individual and the region as a whole.Especially for cities in the region,it is necessary to take a scientific and cooperative strategy to improve the competitiveness of their tourism products and conduct regional tourism competition,that is,"cooperation in competition" and "competition in cooperation" In the tourism market competition,a place to gain a foothold is the main problem to be solved urgently in the tourism development in many regions at present.It is also a focal point in the theory and practice of regional tourism development.It is an inevitable trend to study the development of regional tourism in the modern tourism economy and has very important theoretical and practical significance for the sustainable development of regional tourism.This article chooses the developing Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the research object,based on the theory of niche and combining with the tourism status quo in Inner Mongolia,constructs the evaluation index system of regional tourism niche in Inner Mongolia,selects tourism related data in the past three years.The width of tourism niche,the degree of niche overlap,the comprehensive niche and the niche overlap,using the Q system clustering analysis method to classify the cities in Inner Mongolia and further study their respective development,Each Union corresponding to touristdevelopment strategy.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspectives of tourism resource dimension,tourism market dimension,eco-environment dimension of ecological,social and ecological dimensions and integrated tourism ecology in Inner Mongolia,the larger the niche value is,the greater the urban attractiveness is.The greater the competitiveness of tourism,the highest status.Each city has different manifestations in all dimensions,and different dimensions have different niche breadths,resulting in different tourism integrated niche values.According to the conclusion,the tourism integrated ecological niches of each league in Inner Mongolia are as follows: Hulunbuir> Hohhot> Baotou> Erdos> Chifeng> Xilin Gol League> Tongliao> Wulanchabu> Xing'an League> Manzhouli> Alxa League>Bayannaoer> Wuhai> Erenhot.Among them,Hulun Buir tourism has the largest comprehensive ecological niche value and the most competitive tourism resources;Erlianhot tourism has the smallest integrated tourism niche value and the least tourism competitiveness.(2)From the calculated degree of overlap of tourism niche between each city in Inner Mongolia and the comprehensive overlap degree of tourist niche in each city,the greater the degree of niche overlap,the more overlap of resource utilization among tourist cities The higher the tourism competition is more intense.The overlapping degree of tourism niche in each city varies from place to place,mainly in the range of 0.5-0.9,while others below 0.5 indicate that the tourism competition between the two cities is moderate or above 0.9 indicates the tourism competition between the two cities More violent.The conclusion is as follows: Bayannaoer> Xing'an League> Tongliao> Wulanchabu>Baotou> Erdos> Xilin Gol League> Hulunbeir> Chifeng> Hohhot> Alxa League>Manchuria> Uruguay Sea> Erenhot.Among them,Bayannao'er tourism ecological niche has the largest comprehensive overlapping degree and the most competitive tourism;the comprehensive overlapping degree of Erenhot tourism niche is the smallest,and tourism competitiveness is the least.(3)According to the results of Q-type cluster analysis,the 14 cities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are divided into seven categories according to the niche clustering pedigree map: ? is Hohhot and Baotou;? is Erdos;? is Hulun Buir;? is Tongliao,Wulanchabu and Xilin Gol League;? is Chifeng;? is Bayannaoer,Xing'an League and Alxa League;? is Wuhai,Manzhouli and Erenhot.Finally,according to the research results and the actual tourism conditions of all the cities in Inner Mongolia,this paper puts forward some strategies and suggestions from theaspects of the extension and separation of niche,the policy of coordinated development and global travel policy.City Tourism provides a reasonable and effective tourism development strategies.This enriches the research on tourism in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and complements the research results of tourism development in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.It provides relevant decision-makers with decision-making basis and promotes the coordinated and sustainable development of all cities and Inner Mongolia as a whole.
