An Empirical Study On The Relationship Among Entrepreneurship,Knowledge Spillover And Regional Economic Growth

In recent years,China's economy has played a pivotal role from high-speed development to high-quality development,improvement of the level of knowledge,and increase in the number of startups.Foreign scholars have done a lot of empirical analysis on the relationship between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillovers and regional economic growth.Most of them have studied the situation of entrepreneurship,knowledge spillovers and regional economic growth in developed countries.Domestic scholars are late in studying China's entrepreneurship,knowledge spillovers,and regional economic growth problems.The study of this issue mostly stays at the discussion of the theoretical stage,empirical aspects,and discusses the spillover effect of knowledge.However,few scholars have systematically divided China into eastern,central,and western regions and studied the relationship between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillovers,and regional economic growth.Based on the background of China's actual economic development and the current state and deficiencies of the research in the academic community,this essay focuses on the relationship between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth is discussed and empirically analyzed.The paper is divided into 6 chapters:The first chapter,the background of the topic,the significance of the selected topic,the relevant studies at home and abroad,the framework,the research methods.Chapter 2,related concepts of entrepreneurship,knowledge,and knowledge spillovers,related theoretical foundations.The relevant theoretical basis includes: neo-classical growth theory,endogenous growth theory,knowledge spillover entrepreneurship theory,and entrepreneurial promotion of economic growth theory.Chapter 3,the status quo of entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth.First of all,to describe the current situation of entrepreneurship in the eastern,central and western regions of China,the overall entrepreneurship in China has increased,but there are differences in entrepreneurship in different regions.Secondly,the current situation of knowledge spillovers in the eastern,central and western regions of China is described.The overall level of knowledge spillovers in our country is relatively high,but there is a large gap between knowledge spillovers in different regions.Finally,describe the current economic growth situation in the eastern,central and western regions of China.The overall economic growth momentum in China is good,but there are significant differences between different regions.Chapter 4,empirical analysis of entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth.The model is set to a fixed-effect variable intercept model,and the descriptive analysis of the eastern,central and western regions of China respectively is conducted.From the descriptive analysis,the initial guess of the relationship between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth is carried out.Afterwards,relevant data from the eastern,central and western regions were brought into the model for model estimation.The empirical results show that overall,there is a positive correlation between entrepreneurship in the eastern,central and western regions of China and regional economic growth,and internal expenditures for R&D expenditures are similar.There is a significant positive correlation between regional economic growth.In terms of sub-regions,the relationship between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth differs in the eastern,central and western regions,and empirical analysis is conducted.Chapter 5,conclusions and policy implications.The conclusion part mainly summarizes the differences and related relations between entrepreneurship,knowledge spillover and regional economic growth in different regions of China.Policy implications include policy implications for entrepreneurship and policy implications for knowledge spillovers.
