Now is the era of knowledge economy, modern economic growth is more inclinedto the growth of knowledge, knowledge elements in regional economic developmentis increasingly apparent, the importance of this and the traditional economic growthsignificantly different.Knowledge spillover is a form of knowledge diffusion,knowledge diffusion between area, drive the progress of science and technology, toimprove the quality of personnel, and promote the production and economic growth.Jiangsu province as an economic and technology, the knowledge spillover and theregional economic growth are closely linked, inseparable.First, this paper describes the research background and research purpose andmeaning, combed since the1980s abroad on knowledge spillover effects of spaceresearch and its corresponding commentary. Discusses the knowledge spillover effectsand regional economic growth theories, including the knowledge spillover effectsrelated concepts, regional economic growth theory, knowledge spillover effects offactors and the knowledge spillover effect measure methods.Secondly, it analyzes Jiangsu knowledge spillover effect of the time variation of thetrend.
