An Exploration Of Agricultural Structure In The Construction Of Modern Pastoral City

As a traditional agricultural country,China has always taken agriculture as its fundamental interests and farmers as the main productive force.Since different regions face challenges in diverse kinds of agricultural production,carrying out agricultural tasks in accordance with local conditions has become the major issue facing various regions at this stage.The issue of focusing on 'agriculture,rural areas and farmers' is the strategic thinking with top priority that the CPC Central Committee has set for the entire party.The Party Central Committeeattaches great importance to agricultural issues and has focused on agriculture on the first document of the State Council for ages.In the process of promoting rural reform and innovation,the development of different regional characteristics of agriculture is thefocal anddifficult points of the task,especially in the more economically developed areas,so how to balance regional development,expand agricultural development channels and cultivate new agricultural structures has become a new topic.In 2010,Taicang City had started its practice of planning and constructing modern pastoral cities and achieved good results in urban-rural planning formulation,urban spatial layout,urban-rural integration development and construction of environmental beauty.The practice has been generally concerned by domestic and international,especially the concept of the pastoral city is fully implemented in the process of agricultural modernization,andaccording to its own characteristics exploring the modeof agricultural development with small and medium-sized cities in southern Jiangsu province for continuing to follow the goal of modern pastoral city.Based on the above background,this paper systematically expounds the background and theoretical essence of the contemporarypastoral city through the theory and practice of the modern pastoral city.At the same time,it analyzes the green agriculture,urban agriculture,tourism and leisure agriculture systematically andexplores the relationship between modern pastoral cities and the development direction of three new types of agriculture,especially in some economically developed regions.Based on the development needs of agriculture in Yangtze river delta economic belt,I carry out his research.The main research direction of this paper is based on the modern pastoral city as the main idea,the development of green agriculture,urban agriculture and tourism and leisure agriculture as a means to Taicang City,Jiangsu Province as an empirical research object,put forward the agricultural regional development program,strengthening the agricultural planning system,improving the service system,optimizing the policy system and other aspects by analysis and research.This paper argues that the idea and application of this concept in the pastoral city will have different understanding and practice according to different regional characteristics.In the economic and well-developed,where modern agricultural infrastructure construction is relatively perfect,adjacent to a second-line large city area,agriculture should be further integrated into the city.The sustainable development of futurecity will gradually rely on the local agricultural development.Green agriculture,urban agriculture,tourism and leisure agriculture will become important links between cities.Taicang modern pastoral city's development will also become such a region development of templates and cases.
