Evaluation Of The International Competitiveness Of China's Electronic And Communication Equipment Manufacturing Industry And Analysis Of Its Influencing Factors

As the basic industry of our national economy,the manufacturing industry is the main body of the national economy,the foundation of the founding of the country,the instrument of rejuvenating the country and the foundation of the powerful country.The electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry is an important category of the manufacturing industry.It is not only of great significance to promote the development of our national economy,but also belongs to one of the pillar industries.At the same time,it is also a basic industry related to the lifeblood of our national economy and one of the strategic industries related to national security.The electronics and communication equipment manufacturing industry is the leading industry of our national economy.It represents the level of development of the high-tech industry in china.From a series of policies related to the manufacturing of electronic and communication equipment issued by our country,It can be seen that the state is paying great attention to the development of the industry.It is of great significance to study the international competitiveness of China's electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry and its influencing factors to measure the development level of China's high-tech industry and its competitiveness in the international market.At the same time,it has certain reference value for the measures that should be taken to effectively improve theinternational competitiveness of this industry.On the basis of summarizing the evaluation index of international competitiveness of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper establishes the evaluation index system of electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry in our country,calculates the corresponding index,and compares with the United States,Japan and the Republic of Korea.The results show that the international competitiveness of China's electronics and communications equipment manufacturing industry has been greatly improved in 1998-2016.Compared with the United States,Japan and the Republic of Korea,China has a strong international competitiveness.It can be found that China is moving from 762 kinds of commodities and 763 kinds of commodities to 764 kinds of goods,761 kinds of commodities and 752 kinds of commodities.After evaluating the international competitiveness of China's electronics and communications equipment manufacturing industry and its subdivision industries,we learn from Porter's Diamond Theory and the research results of many other scholars.According to the industrial characteristics of this industry in China,five factors which may affect the international competitiveness of China's industry are R & D personnel full-time equivalent,per capita GDP,industrial concentration,foreign direct investment and labor cost.Through regression analysis,this paper analyzes the effects of the above five factors on the export value of the electronic and communicationequipment manufacturing industry in China,and finds that the full-time equivalent of R & D personnel has a negative effect on the export of this industry.GDP per capita and foreign direct investment(FDI)have a significant positive effect on the export value of the industry,industrial concentration has no obvious effect on the export value,and the labor cost will have a negative impact on the export.Based on the empirical analysis,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the international competitiveness of China's electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry.
