An Empirical Study About The Export Competitiveness Of China's Equipment Manufacturing Industry

The equipment manufacturing industry is a key part of the national industrial and manufacturing,and it is also the foundation of the national economic development especially industrial development.In the context of economic globalization,to enhance the export competitiveness of a national equipment is to enhance the export competitiveness of equipment industries.The export of China's equipment manufacturing industry make great contributions,but China's equipment form a big but not strong image.In the face of economic and trade environment,which developed countries' high-end manufacturing reflow and emerging economies accelerate the transfer of low-end manufacturing.What made the growth of equipment manufacturing products export slowing down and the negative growth of export should not be ignored.This makes it pretty significant to study the factors affecting exports of China's equipment manufacturing products,how to enhance the export competitiveness in international market.In the paper,based on the theory of industrial export competitiveness and literature review of research actuality at home and aboard,this thesis illustrates the current situation of China's equipment manufacturing products export from the perspective of export scale,market distribution,export trade,etc.This paper mainly selects a series of export competitiveness indexes,such as international market share(IMS),revealed comparative advantage index(RCA),and so on.We analysis the competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing goods and other developed countries,then make use of the entropy method to evaluate the export competitiveness of China,and other developed countries.We draw the relevant conclusions:China and Germany ranked alternately floating up and down in the second and third.The export competition of China's equipment manufacturing industry is gradually increasing,but the export competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry department is not balanced.On the basis of the comprehensive evaluation system of the industrial competitiveness at home and at board,this thesis selects factors of the R&D intensity,labor intensity,etc.It is concluded that capital investment,R&D intensity,foreign direct investment,labor investment have positive effects on the export competitiveness.Finally,based on the results of quantitative analysis and the experience of other countries,make suggestion to improve the export competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing.
