With the rapid development of tourism,the level of tourism consumption has gradually increased and the scale of the tourism industry has continued to expand.However,the phenomenon of unbalanced regional tourism development has become increasingly prominent,and the problem of tourism efficiency has become increasingly significant.Therefore,the study on the differences in regional tourism efficiency and its influencing factors is an important way to narrow the regional tourism economic differences and improve the efficiency of regional tourism.Qinghai Province is located in the northeast of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Its unique and rich tourism resources have created favorable conditions for the development of the tourism industry.However,with the rapid development of tourism,how to develop high quality has become an important issue at present.Therefore,this study selects cities and counties in Qinghai Province as the research object,adopts DEA method to measure the development efficiency of tourism in cities and counties in Qinghai Province from 2010 to 2016 using DEAP 2.1 software,and compares the tourism efficiency of cities and counties in Qinghai with the Mankist Index.Difference analysis,and put forward relevant suggestions and measures.Through the above system research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The average technical efficiency of cities and counties in Qinghai Province during 2010-2016 can be divided into three different types of efficiency.The average total technical efficiency of Xining City(0.913),Haixi Prefecture(0.905),Haibei Prefecture(0.854)and Huangnanzhou(0.891)are all above 0.8,and the total tourism efficiency is high,which belongs to the high-efficiency region;Haidong City(0.468)The average total technical efficiency of Hainan(0.516)is between 0.4 and 0.8.The overall tourism efficiency is at a medium level and it belongs to the mediumefficiency region.The average total technical efficiency of Yushu(0.105)and Guoluo(0.211)is Below 0.4,the overall tourism efficiency is relatively low and it belongs to the low efficiency area.(2)The changes in tourism efficiency in different cities and counties of Qinghai Province from 2010 to 2016 are different.The specific performance is that the tourism efficiency of Xining continues to increase;the travel efficiency of Haibei,Hainan,Huangnan,Yushu and Guoluo States continues to decline;Tourism performance in Haixi Prefecture has increased in 2010 and 2011,and has continued to decline in2012-2016;Haidong Tourism Efficiency has shown a decline in 2010-2014,and2015-2016 has seen an increase in tourism efficiency.(3)The results of the division of regional tourism efficiency types show that Guoluo and Yushu are declining regions,indicating that the tourism efficiency is lower than the average level in the province,and the change in tourism technology efficiency is declining;Haidong City is a potential area It shows that the tourism efficiency is lower than the average level in the province,and the change in the efficiency of tourism technology shows an increase;Xining City is a dynamic region,the tourism efficiency is higher than the average level of the province,and the change of tourism technology efficiency shows a steady growth trend;Haixi Prefecture Haibei,Huangnan,and Hainan are stagnant areas.The regional tourism efficiency is higher than the average level in the province,and the changes in tourism efficiency are declining.(4)There are significant differences in tourism efficiency between cities and counties in Qinghai Province.The main factors affecting the tourism efficiency of cities and counties in Qinghai Province are natural geography conditions,investment in tourism economy,degree of development of tourism resources,scale of tourism development,and conditions of tourism traffic.
