Although employee volunteering appeared earlier in some western developed contries,it turned out to be more and more popular in our country and attract more attention from scholars.In recent years,prosocial motive has been proved to promote employee creativity in empirical approaches,and impacts employee volunteering deeply.In order to probe into the relationship between employee volunteering and creativity,the impact path as well,the study takes the employee as objects to do the research.Based on motivated information processing,role accumulation theory and creativity composition theory,the study takes high-order thinking skills and work domain skills as the mediators,prosocial motive as the moderator to establish the proposed model.Futhermore,the study employs spss 17.0 and lisrel 8.70 to empirically test the proposed model.The results reveals that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between employee volunteering and employee creativity.(2)Both high-order thinking skills and work domain skills play the mediating effect,and high-order thinking skills plays a better mediating effect.(3)Prosocial identity plays the moderatoring effect in the first-half path.Furthermore,prosocial identity plays a moderated mediating effect in the path.According to the conclusion,this paper puts forward some practical suggestions to guide executives improve employee creativity.Both limitation and future research direction also are metioned at the end of this paper.
