A Research On The Fruit Industry Of Yichun Based On The SCP Model

Jiangxi Province,riched in the species of fruits,had a long history for fruit-planting.The fruit industry was also one of the nine rural revitalizing strategies.Developing the fruit industry played a vital part in increasing farmers' income,optimizing the agro-industrial structure and distribution as well as leading the development of rural areas.Viewing the recent development trend of fruit as well as the condition in the area,the government put forward the “Internet + Jiangxi fruit ” circulation system in 2016,which was to promote hundreds of billions fruit industry project.Within the layout of the fruit industry,the kiwi,pear,citrus grown in Yichun City,Jiangxi Province were also listed in the project.Meanwhile,the fruit industry of Yichun City was facing tremendous opportunities as well as challenges under the circumstances of supply-side structural reform in agriculture,planning development in the fruit industry of Jiangxi Province and the implementation of the rural revitalizing strategies.Based on the current development conditions and current situations of the fruit industry in Yichun City,this paper used the SCP model in industrial economics to analyze the fruit market structure,fruit market behavior and fruit market performance in Yichun City.The local fruits can be divided into three different types of market competition structures,followed by fruit market behaviors and performances respectively.The external development of fruit industry in Yichun City was compared with the development of fruit industry in Jiangxi Province,so as to explore the overall development of fruit industry in Yichun City.It was concluded that the problems of fruit industry in Yichun City were as follows: small overall scale,irrational structure of fruit industry,insufficient integration of fruit industry and other industries,lack of construction of fruit brand and not enough government support.The final suggestions are that :It is necessary to fully understand the importance of fruit industry development and expand the scale of fruit industry development;The managers should build famous fruit brand and optimize fruit industry variety structure;There is urgent need for the government to cultivate new management body and improve the degree of fruit industry organization;The government should promote industrial integration,extend the chain of fruit industry.;All the participants in the fruit industries should work together to push through online and offline dual channels,promote the integration of online and offline.
