Research On The Development Potential Of Tourism Industry In Hebei Province

The development potential of tourism industry refers to an ability that can transform potential ability into reality through the influence of external things in the process of tourism industry development so as to promote the sustainable development of tourism industry.Tourism is a pleasant and beautiful activity integrating sightseeing,entertainment,fitness and will.It is also a sunrise industry with excellent economic,social and ecological benefits.Hebei province is a large tourist resource province.It relies on Taihang,East Bohai and inner Beijing and Tianjin.It has bright historical culture,magnificent natural scenery,gorgeous folk customs and world-renowned red culture.It has unique advantages in developing tourism industry.The potential of industrial development in Hebei reflects the follow-up ability and prospect of the tourism industry,it is also a comprehensive measure and evaluation of the development prospect of its tourism industry.By appraising the development potential of tourism industry in Hebei Province,it is helpful to correctly understand the development trend of tourism industry in various regions,clarify the orientation and train of thought of its development,and it makes suggestions pertinently to avoid the blind development of tourism industry.Based on the analysis of the development potential of tourism industry both at home and abroad,this paper discusses the related theory of the development potential of tourism industry and establishes the evaluation index system of the development potential of tourism industry.Through a comprehensive comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the evaluation methods for the development potential of tourism industry,this paper selects the projection pursuit method based on genetic algorithm to establish a comprehensive evaluation model for the development potential of tourism industry.This method can find the overall situation quickly and effectively while avoiding the subjective empowerment problem Optimal projection value.Then,the panel data from 2006 to 2015 in Hebei Province were selected for empirical research,the static and dynamic analyzes of 11 cities in Hebei Province were conducted respectively.Firstly,static analysis is made on the development potential of tourism industry in all prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province,the restrictive and stimulating factors are extracted.According to the specific conditions of cities,some countermeasures are put forward.Then the dynamic analysis shows that the development potentials of tourism industry in all prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province from 2006 to 2015 are on the rise,pointing out that there are slight changes in the rankings of tourism industry potential in some regions.In order to further deepen the analysis of regional differences in the development potential of tourism industry in Hebei Province,cluster analysis was conducted to classify the cities of Hebei Province into three categories based on the potential of the development potential of the tourism industry.In response to the problem that the development potential of tourism industries at different levels has turned into real competitiveness,some policy proposals have been put forward to enable different types of cities to make full use of their advantageous resources to promote the development of tourism in Hebei Province.
