There is a phenomenon that scholars engaged in the studies of Danwei usually deem Danwei organization of an integrated entity and then raise critics on state-owned enterprises.However,this kind of view ignored the duality within the Danwei organization.State-owned enterprises or Danwei organizations as they are called,have emerged and expanded since 1950s.The expansion of Danwei organizations was characterized by the family members of their workers' entry into internal organizations,and peaked with the establishments of factory-run collectives,which can also be seen as the foundation of the duality of Danwei organizations.Meanwhile,the familization of state-owned enterprises resulted from the expansion of Dawnei organizations is a framework in which the duality existence.This duality is of great importance when studies on Danwei organizations in planning system.By a case study of Factory Y in C City,the papers mainly focus on the duality of Danwei organizations in the context of familization of state-owned enterprises,and try to reveal the transition of Danwei organizations.
