The Study Of Financial Support For Industrial Structure Transformation And Upgrading Of Jilin Province

For a country or a region,"adjusting structure and promoting transformation" is an important way to maintain a rapid and steady economic development.As the core of the modern economy,finance is a powerful impetus to the development of the real economy.Therefore,there must be a variety of demands for the development of the financial industry through the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure.At present,China's economy has shifted from a state of rapid growth that lasted for many years to a "new normal" of medium-speed growth.In Jilin Province,the situation is even worse with a year-on-year economic slowdown.In view with the economic development of Jilin Province at this stage,this thesis is particularly meaningful to consider the financial support for the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in Jilin Province as a research problem.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which illustrates the background and significance of the topic,as well as introduces research ideas and research methods.The second chapter includes the related theory and literature review.It expounds the theory of industrial structure,the theory of financial support,the theory of the relationship between financial development and economic growth,the theory of the relationship between financial development and the upgrading of industrial structure.It lays a theoretical foundation to analyze finance can support the industrial structure to transform and upgrade.The third chapter analyzes the current situation of the financial support for the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure in Jilin Province.It mainly analyzes the present situation of industrial transformation and the current situation of financial development in Jilin Province.It summarizes the problems and dilemmas in the financial supportive transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in Jilin Province,including the imperfect financial system,the underdeveloped capital and insurance markets,the irrational structure of funds distribution and immature market economy system.The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of the financial supportive transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in Jilin Province.Through using financial development and industrial development as two categories of indicators,selecting four groups of data including financial-related rate,financing efficiency,return on investment and industrial structure optimization rate and applying the VAR model to analyze and describe financial supportive transformation and upgrading of industrial structure in Jilin Province.The fifth chapter makes conclusion and gives countermeasure,including two parts.The first part is the empirical analysis of the conclusions: First,a separation of industrial development and financial development in Jilin Province is found through the Granger causality test.Thus the demand-led relationship between the industrial development and the financial development,especially the needs for loan from financial institutions,is identified.Secondly,through the analysis of impulse response,further confirms the financial demand-oriented development mode between the two,and also find the problem of inefficiency in financial resource allocation during the process of industrial restructuring.Finally,through the variance decomposition to make conclusion that the financial support for the industrial restructuring and upgrading is still inadequate in Jilin Province.There are still problems like funding is not meet requirement or insufficient.The second part is from the five aspects of perfecting financial market system,developing regional capital market and insurance market,formulating development strategy according to industrial characteristics,deepening state-owned enterprise reform and market economy system reform,improving government work efficiency and innovating government working mode,provide strategies and suggestions for the problems and dilemmas found in this research.
