Study On The Influence Factors And Countermeasures Of Farmers' Income Growth In Zhanjiang

Zhanjiang is a big agricultural city,which makes it become a typical representative city of Guangdong in rural economic development.Year 2016,the total output value of Agriculture,Forestry,Animal Husbandry and fishery was 79 billion and 230 million Yuan,ranking the first place in Guangdong.However,compared with Pearl River Delta,low level in economic development,low income of the peasant and hard to increase are current situations of Zhanjiang.Meanwhile,Zhanjiang owns a large number of population,by 2017,the resident population reaches to 7.305 million,including rural resident population 4.23 million,account for 57.9%.Farmers,as the biggest group of population,their income issue should be highly concerned,a steady income increase will help Zhanjiang to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects.Year 2017,the per-capita disposable income of rural residents was 14.484 thousand Yuan,which is lower than the whole province by8.9%,87.2% lower than urban residents in Zhanjiang.The huge gaps between urban and rural areas make it worth to make a research on the topic of rural residents' income situation analysis and income increase issue.The research on the income growth of farmers in Zhanjiang city has a certain representative in the scope of prefecture-level cities,which can provide some reference for the rapid growth of farmers' income in other cities in China.This paper combines the changes of farmers' income level and structure in Zhanjiang since 1978,and compares the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangdong Province and the whole country,analyzes the income gap between urban and rural residents,as well as brotherly cities and among counties(cities and districts)in Zhanjiang.After an analytical study,the following conclusions have been drawn——The favorable factors for farmers' income growth in Zhanjiang including: abundant rural labor force,abundant agricultural resources and leading agricultural enterprises.The restricting factors for the family income including: small scale of agricultural production,serious homogenization,week infrastructure,as well as the public facilities are backward and the science and technology extension system is not perfect;The restricting factors for the wage income including: the lack of skills,the lag in the construction of public welfare information platform for peasant workers and the low level of development of township enterprises;The restricting factors for the transfer and property income including: insufficient financial input,underdevelopment of social service system and low degree of land circulation.Based on the experience of farmers' income growth at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the implementing rural revitalization strategy to improve the construction of public facilities,farmers' cultural quality and employment skills,increase the financial input in agriculture and improve the land transfer mechanism and a series of policy recommendations,so that we can increase the income of farmers in Zhanjiang eventually.
