SAP Material Management Module In The Application Of A Corporation

With the rapid development of global informatization,the competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.In this grim situation,the operation and management of A Corporation has been challenged,one of the key challenges is the procurement and management.How to reduce the cost of the procurement and improve the efficiency of the procurement has become important to realize the informatization and integration of material management in A Corporation.This paper optimizes the material procurement management of A Corporation and applies it to SAP system.This paper comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of the engineering projects in environmental protection industry,as well as the factors affecting the material procurement of A Corporation and the procurement characteristics.Based on the two dimensions(supply risk and proportion of the value),this paper makes use of the idea about the Kraljic matrix of classification to construct material classification evaluation index.According to the purchasing history data and the method of 1-9 scaling,the scoring criteria of material classification index is established by qualitative and quantitative methods.Then using the Kraljic matrix of classification and clustering analysis synthetically,the materials are divided into four categories according to the actual demand of enterprise management.Through analyzing the characteristics of all kinds of different materials,all of these about procurement strategies and supplier management methods of various materials are proposed,on this basis,the procurement management process of A Corporation will be optimized.After the establishment of the management standard about material master data of A Corporation,LSMW workbench is used in the SAP system to import the material master data of A Corporation,and the interface between the SAP system and the original management information system of A Corporation is designed,which realizing the real-time transmission of material master data between the two systems.The research results have been applied in the SAP system of A Corporation,which will promote the efficiency of procurement management,reduce the procurement cost and accelerate the information process.The material classification method and procurement strategy proposed in this paper have universal applicability in the environmental protection industry,which can be used for reference for other companies in the industry.
