Since 2015,Fuping County has supported the development of mushroom cultivation as a key project in the county to “get rid of poverty for three years, get rich in five years, and enjoy eight years of well-being”.However,local farmers did not have the experience of mushroom cultivation before then. Are farmers able to achieve good poverty reduction effects in the cultivation of edible fungi and their own poverty? Based on such realistic considerations, this article uses empirical analysis methods to analyze the poverty reduction effect of farmers in the cultivation process of edible fungi.Based on a comprehensive analysis of relevant issues at home and abroad on the causes of poverty, poverty measurement, poverty reduction influencing factors, and industrial poverty alleviation,a field survey was conducted on 11 poor villages where edible mushroom cultivation was conducted in Fuping County,Hebei Province.220 households.Further from the perspective of farmers, empirical analysis of the effect of edible fungi cultivation on rural households in terms of income changes, changes in opportunities, and changes in the ability to reduce poverty, according to the results of the study to further improve the actual needs of rural households to reduce poverty need to provide targeted countermeasures The proposal provides a theoretical basis and reference for follow-up research. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:First, joining cooperatives and forming close cooperative relations with enterprises have positive significance for the growth of edible mushroom growers to better reduce poverty.Second, the expansion of the business scale does not necessarily benefit the improvement of the poverty reduction effect of rural households. On the contrary, the expansion of the scale of operations may lead to a worsening effect of poverty reduction.Third, older farmers are significantly worse off in terms of income and capacity growth.Farmers with relatively higher education levels are significantly better at gaining access to opportunities than those with low education levels.Access to information has important implications for poverty reduction for farmers.Fourth,poverty-stricken households have poorer poverty-reducing effects in the cultivation of edible fungi than non-poor households.Participation in the number of training sessions and the effectiveness of training have affected households to reduce poverty.According to the above conclusion, this paper puts forward: Strengthen the company's driving ability and close the cooperative relationship between farmers and enterprises;Promoting the Construction of Cooperative Organizations to Improve Farmers' Market Position;Encourage farmers to operate on a moderate scale and reduce the cost of farmer management;Strengthen Professional Farmers' Education and Training to Improve Farmers' Professional Skills.
