Research On Rural Poverty Reduction In Beipiao County

Poverty alleviation and development related to the overall progress of society, It is of great significance to safeguard the fundamental interests of the people, to ensure stability of the state, to achieve a comprehensive well-off society.Beipiao County is the provincial key county of poverty reduction, has the largest proportion of poverty population and heaviest poverty reduction task. Moreover, poverty reduction in Beipiao County has the highest priority in Chaoyang area and is closely related to the development of Chaoyang.The thesis takes Research on Rural Poverty Reduction in Beipiao County as the research object. Taking the methods such as documentation collection, questionnaire survey, individual interview, field survey and statistical analysis, the thesis analyzes the domestic and foreign research status of poverty reduction, states the poverty reduction related concepts and theories, introduces the current situation of rural poverty reduction in Beipiao County, and makes detailed analysis to the investigation of poverty reduction in Beipiao County. The analysis shows that, the rural poverty reduction in Beipiao County has achieved a certain success, but there are also problems such as unsound poverty alleviation mechanism, low participation of poor households, low efficiency of fund utilizing, slow industrial progress for poverty reduction. This thesis carefully analyzes reasons for these problems and points out the main reasons are lagging economic development, insufficient human resource and lack of targeted measures for poverty reduction. At the end, the thesis comes to a conclusion of four improving and perfecting aspects for poverty reduction, including improving the mechanism of poverty reduction, promoting poor households'full participation, ensuring the maximum efficiency of fund, strengthening the industrialization of poverty reduction. The conclusion also provides a reference of poverty reduction for other areas.
