The Present Status And Countermeasures Of Fuping's Poverty Alleviation And Development

The essence of socialism is to eliminate poverty and realize common prosperity, which is also an important mission of our party at present. Since the reform and opening up in 1978, China's poverty has declined greatly after a nationwide large-scale poverty relief program. The production and living conditions in poor areas has changed significantly too. But we are still facing many hard and heavy tasks in the poverty alleviation and development work. At present, the poverty alleviation in China has entered the countdown period. Fuping is a state poverty county, the task for poverty alleviation and development is more significant. President Xi Jinping made a remark when coming to investigate the poverty alleviation and development work of Fuping county: we must help the rural people to get rid of poverty and become rich.The thesis consists of three parts, in which it made a demonstration research for the necessity of rural poverty alleviation and development work of Fuping county. The paper is based on the method of system analysis and the method of combing the theory and practice. The first part is introduction and mainly about the background, significance and purpose of the research. The second part is empirical research and mainly focus on the state of Fuping's poverty relief and development. It points out the problems in the process of poverty alleviation and development: lower population quality, lack of self development ability, weak infrastructure, insufficient basic public service ability, monotonous body of poverty alleviation and weak foundation of social poverty alleviation. The problem analysis lays an empirical foundation for the paper research. The third part is the standard research and mainly about the long-term plan of Fuping's poverty alleviation. Based on this, it puts forward effective measures to improve the poverty alleviation effect of Fuping county.
