Study On The Coupling Of Regional Innovation Ability And Economic Development Level In Chongqing

With the change in economic growth rate,economic structure and economic momentum,China's economic development has entered a new normal,already an innovation-driven economy,we should more emphasis on the sustainable economic development.Regional innovation capacity determines the level of regional economic development,and it is the source of sustainable development.Currently,the Innovation-driven development strategy is in the depth implementation phase,and country's strategic goal is the construction of "innovative countries" and "double-creation" society.Regional innovation capacity and economic development level are very important aspects of the overall development of the region.The correlation and coordination between regional innovation capacity and economic development level will directly affect the healthy and sustainable development of regional society.Therefore,we need to evaluate regional innovation and economic development.Due to Chongqing's unique geographical location and political status,Its regional innovation capability and economic development level directly affect the implementation of the strategy for the development of the western region and the deployment of the national innovation-driven strategy.So,Taking Chongqing as the research object is scientific.It is important to study the Interaction Mechanism between Regional Innovation Capacity and Regional Economic Development Level,to compare the regional innovation capacity and economic development level of 38 districts and counties in Chongqing,to study the degree of coupling and coordination between regional innovation capacity and economic development level in Chongqing.This article is based on a large amount of literature and related theories.It analyzed the interaction and coupling mechanism of regional innovation ability and economic development level,the status quo of Chongqing's regional innovation capacity and economic development level,established evaluation index systems for Chongqing's regional innovation capacity and economic development level,constructed the coupling and coordination model,set the standard for the coupling and coordination type.Among them,factor analysis and cluster analysis are used.Finally,it summarized the changes and laws of the coupling and coordination between regional innovation capacity and economic development level in Chongqing.The main results are as follows.(1)In terms of regional innovation capabilities.First,the main body of innovation activities is enterprise-based,achieving a 70% share.Second,the investment and output of innovation generally shows a steady upward trend.Third,the gap of economic growth between the circle of the urban economy,the economic corridor of the western Chongqing and the ecological economic zone of the Three Gorges Reservoir area is much different.The regional innovation capability of Chongqing presents a“central-periphery”pattern.With the Urban Economic Circle and the Fuling district as the center,the regional innovation capacity has spread outward from the strong.(2)In terms of economic development.The total scale of economic development in Chongqing is continuously expanding,the structure of economic development is constantly being optimized,the quality of economic development is gradually improving,and the gap between urban and rural areas is narrowing.However,there is a large gap in the level of economic development among the districts and counties in Chongqing.The economic development patterns of the urban economically developed circles are diverse,while the taxonomy of the West Chongqing Economic Corridor and the Three Gorges Reservoir Ecological Economic Zone is relatively simple.(3)In terms of synchronization of regional innovation capacity and economic development level.There is a clear correlation between regional innovation capacity and economic development level,but the level of economic development has greater impact on regional innovation capacity.High levels of economic development can enhance regional innovation capabilities,but often at the expense of economic development.However if it is at the low economic development level,the original high-regional innovation capability will be reduced to low regional innovation capabilities over time.The districts and counties in the quadrant of high regional innovation capacity-high economic development level,and low-level regional innovation ability-low economic development level are unlikely to change.As a result,the imbalance between regional innovation capacity and economic development levels in the urban areas of Chongqing is difficult to eliminate in the short term.(4)In terms of the degree of coupling and coordination between regional innovation capacity and economic development level.The average degree of coupling is above 0.98,which turns out that the intensity of interaction between regional innovation capacity and economic development level has a great influence.Overall,the coupling and coordination degree of the Chongqing urban economic circle is better than that of the Yuxi Economic Corridor.The Yuxi Economic Corridor is better than the rest.The overall economic development level of Chongqing is higher than that of regional innovation.And there are the following rules: 1.The regions that are in critical areas of coordinated development often have low levels of economic development and innovation.They should increase investment in innovation or economic development,to shift from a synchronous type of economic innovation to a lagging type of economic development or a lagged innovation capability.2.The districts and counties that are at the lower level,intermediate level and higher level of the level of coupling and coordination between economic development level and regional innovation capacity are usually faster in economic development than in innovation,and should gradually shift from lagging of innovation to economic and innovation in synchronous development.This can strengthen the regional innovation ability and narrow the gap between economy and innovation.3.When districts and counties are high-level coordinated development or high-quality coordinated development,their economic development level and regional innovation capacity are both high,and economic and innovation are integrated,and it is hard to determine which type is more effective.
