Recent years have witnessed the rapid growth of Internet Industry in China which has been one of the major players in the world.The economy,culture and society have been deeply influenced by the power of Internet and Internet plus always been the hot topic.The scale of netizens has reached 0.772 billion,hundreds of internet companies went listed abroad and there are more than 70 unicorns.Against the big growth of Internet,a large number of internet companies emerge every year which greatly push the healthy growth of the industry.In the aspect of theory research,the paper has introduced the definition of Internet companies and efficiency.Then based on the research from global and domestic scholars on DEA/TOPSIS,DEA and TOPSIS technique,the paper conducts a comprehensive analysis toward the principles and steps for the two techniques.In the aspect of empirial research,on one hand input and output data have been selected.Then based on DEA model,it conducts efficiency analysis on the Chinese leading 28 Internet Companies which includes technical efficiency analysis,projection analysis and super efficiency analysis.On the other hand,it builds TOPSIS model to calculate the value for unit and generate the ranking in 2016.Besides,the paper combines two techniques to research the efficiency for selected Internet companies in the year of 2015 and 2016.Spearman method has been used while by giving weights to two different techniques to calculate the integrated assessment value and ranking.It comes to the conclusion that Tencent,Alibaba,Suning and JD reach the high ranking which proves that these kinds of companies own competitive edge on technology and management.
