Study On The Development Of Tourism Industry In Thailand

Thailand's tourism industry has now overtaken traditional labor-intensive industries such as textiles,auto parts and electronic parts to become the largest sector of the national economy.Therefore,it is of great significance to ensure the healthy development of the tourism industry for the long-term sustainable development of the national economy of Thailand.Thailand's tourists source at present is mainly in east Asia and eastern Europe and other countries,although the government attaches great importance to tourists from all over the world to provide all kinds of convenience,but at present,within the scope of the south-east Asia region,Thailand's tourism industry competitiveness is not outstanding,a large number of small and medium-sized tourism enterprises disorderly management and poor quality of the labor force,and the law of the tourism industry security and the lack of regulation and other issues are more prominent.Based on the calculation of the comparative advantage index of Thailand's tourism industry,the source of tourists and the government's industrial policy,the development status of Thailand's tourism industry is analyzed.Due to the imperfect financing conditions of Thai tourism enterprises,it is difficult for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises to obtain the support of domestic financial institutions.In Thailand,foreign investment in the Thai tourism industry is restricted.It is difficult to effectively introduce foreign management experience into Thai tourism industry through equity investment in international financial market.In addition,excessive dependence on its own good natural environment and cultural landscape also brings about the problem that the quality of labor force cannot be improved.The long period of political turmoil and the government's connivance have led to the lack of regulation of the sex abuse in Thailand's tourism industry.In order to solve the problem of Thailand's tourism industry faces,the Thai government measures should be taken to encourage Banks to increase credit support for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises,through the development for tourists known as new attractions and specialty products to meet the individual needs of tourists,Thailand tourism industry competitiveness of ascension.Thailand needs to promote banking credit support for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises,and establishing the credit guarantee system for small and medium-sized tourism enterprises,encourage small and medium-sized tourism enterprises listing and financing,such as means,strengthen financial support for tourism.
