County Competitiveness Differences And Driving Factors Research Of Pearl River-xijiang Economic Belt

With the rural revitalization strategy,the country once again focused its development on "three dimensional rural issues." The revitalization of rural areas cannot be separated from the traction of the county economy and the integration of urban and rural areas.Through the flow and complement of the city's point-to-face,point-line combination,and superior economic elements,the overall advancement of rural development,agricultural s tructure optimization,and factor allocation efficiency can be achieved.The Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt spans the developed areas in the east and th e backward areas in the west,forming a gradient base for the mutual flow and exchange of economic elements in the spatial layout.However,it is also due to the characteristic s of the "core-periphery" space in the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt.The structure c overs a large area of western and backward areas and ecologically fragile areas in the u pper and middle reaches,thus forming a heterogeneity in the spatial development and dis tribution.The development level,factor endowments,and endogenous driving forces have a significant gap at the county level.Therefore,taking the county economy as the resea rch category,the competitiveness of the development of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economi c Belt county is evaluated,the formation and driving mechanism behind the county's co mpetitiveness gap are explored,and the cooperation between the county and the county i s promoted under the new normal and the county is promoted.The new impetus for rur al economic growth is of great significance in accelerating the integration of urban and r ural development in China and rejuvenating the countryside.Based on the research object of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt,this paper fi rst established the indicator system of the economic competitiveness of the Pearl River-X ijiang Economic Belt county,and compiled the county development data for 2006,2011,The principal component analysis method comprehensively evaluates the competitiveness of the county's economy;on this basis,it studies the spatial distribution pattern and drivi ng mechanism of the formation and evolution of the county's economic competitiveness;at the same time,it uses a multiple linear regression analysis method to analyze the economic competitiveness of the economic belt at the county level.The influencing factors of the period;Finally,combined with the county economic evaluation results and spatial distribution,put forward corresponding policy recommendations.The study draws the foll owing conclusions:Firstly,from the comprehensive evaluation results of county economic competitivenes s,the top 5 counties are supported by featured agriculture and emerging service industrie s.They are close to the Pearl River Delta or major central cities.The transportation is r elatively convenient and the location is superior;All the counties are located in the Gua ngxi region and are all state-level poverty-stricken counties.The industrialization and urb anization of the region are lagging behind.Secondly,judging from the spatial changes of county competitiveness in the past 10years,in the spatial distribution of county competitiveness in 2006,the number of areas with relatively high levels of competitiveness is small,and the space is mainly distribut ed in Zhaoqing City and Yunfu City of Guangdong Province in the east.Guangxi only h as four districts,Hengxian County,Liujiang County,Pingxiang City,and Teng County.Al though the basic pattern has not changed in 2011,there are more Guangxi counties(citie s)among the middle and high-grade county development areas;by 2016,the middle and high-grade competitiveness counties in the Guangxi region have obviously increased,and the competition between the two counties has widened.The power gap gradually narrow ed.Thirdly,from the formation mechanism and driving forces of county competitiveness,the driving factors of county-level economic competitiveness in different periods are quit e different.Financial support and infrastructure construction have always played a signific ant role in promoting the competitiveness of the county;relying on the endowment of ag ricultural resources to enhance industrial support capabilities is an important way to boost the competitiveness of Guangxi's economically backward regions.The industrialization of agriculture and the development of modern agriculture still need the support of funds,t echnology,and human resources.The factors such as the level of urbanization,the level of informatization,the input of labor force,and the level of scientific research will grad ually increase the promotion of county economies;financial support will be promoted at the current stage.The contribution of county economic competitiveness is not significant.Based on the results of the study,the countermeasures and suggestions for promotin g the overall economic competitiveness of the Pearl River-Xijiang Economic Belt are pro posed.Efforts will be made to create county-specific industries,supplement poverty and s hortfalls,and increase the total economic output.Then,in accordance with the development characteristics of different regions,new regional development energy will be cultivated;through strengthening infrastructure construction,economic “pole” will be formed and a “golden” development pattern will be created.Further deepen the convergence of urbaniz ation-driven,financial-driven,innovation-driven,and talent-driven four factors,and build a linkage development path with different development driving mechanisms in the county.
