In recent years,IT industry has developed rapidly in China,and it has become an important force to support and promote social economy development.Different from the traditional labor-intensive industries,the IT industry belongs to the knowledge-intensive industry,which gathers many knowledge,technology and high-quality employee.Employees are the direct creators of the valuable wealth of IT enterprises and the strategic resources that constitute the core competitiveness of IT enterprise,According to past research,employees' job satisfaction directly or indirectly affects their job performance and turnover tendencies.Therefore,IT company's performance and operating performance are more dependent on the satisfaction of employees.Through the interviews with IT companies in WH Optical Valley Software Park,the author found that IT employees in the software park are not satisfied with their work.Many IT companies are faced with the low attraction of talents and the high turnover rate of employees,leading to imbalance between supply and demand of human resources within IT enterprise,especially the phenomenon that demand of technical personnel exceeds supply.Therefore,how to motivate employees of IT enterprises effectively,improve their satisfaction,keep employee turnover within reasonable limits,and give full play to their creativity has become an urgent issue to be solved.Based on the above background,the paper takes IT enterprises in WH Optical Valley Software Park as a sample.Through interviews and questionnaire surveys,we will know the status of satisfaction of IT employees in the software park,and empirical atudies such as correlation analysis,regression analysis,and variance analysis are used to explore the impact of different factors on job satisfaction of IT employees,which aimes to provide scientific and reasonable suggestions for improving the job satisfaction of IT employees.This article mainly conducted five aspects of research.(1)This part mainly reviews the domestic and international literature on concepts,dimension,influencing factor and measuring methods of job satisfaction,summarizes the relevant theory of job satisfaction.(2)This part is about research hypotheses and the theoretical model.Based on the reference of domestic and foreign literatures,this paper defines thevariables designed in this study,and regards job satisfaction as the two-dimensional structure which conclude intrinsic job satisfaction and extrinsic job satisfaction,and it summarizes the factors influencing job satisfaction which contains organizational factor and individual factor.Thus,the paper puts forward the research hypotheses,and then constructs the theoretical model of the influencing factors of job satisfaction.(3)The main content of the part is the design and research of the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction of IT enterprises in WH Optical Valley Software Park.In this part,this paper briefly introduces the basic situation of WH Optical Valley Software Park firstly,and then the author designs the questionnaire properly.Based on the questionnaire survey,statistics of the sample gives basic information.Finally,reliability and validity testing are conducted.(4)This part is empirical analysis and discussion of the data from the questionnaire,which is the key part of the study,including descriptive statistical analysis of job satisfaction,correlation and regression analysis between work factors and job satisfaction,and the analysis of differences in sample characteristics in the satisfaction level.(5)According to the results of empirical analysis,the paper puts forward some suggestions that can effectively improve the employee job satisfaction of IT enterprises.Through the research,the following five conclusions are drawn:(1)The level of job satisfaction of IT employees is on the middle level and needs to be improved.In the IT enterprises of WH Optical Valley Software Park,the overall level of job satisfaction is middle,and staff's intrinsic job satisfaction is significantly lower than the extrinsic job satisfaction,so IT companies should proceed from improving the intrinsic job satisfaction to improve the overall job satisfaction.(2)The work factors of the salary and welfare,individual growth and development,team atmosphere,work itself all have a significant positive impact on IT enterprise staffs' job satisfaction and its two dimensions.The salary and welfare,individual growth and development,team atmosphere all have a significant positive impact on IT enterprise staffs' job satisfaction and its two dimensions,but work itself has a significant positive impact on overall job satisfaction and intrinsic job satisfaction,and has no significant effect on the extrinsic job satisfaction.According to the degree of impact on the overall job satisfaction descending order: salary and welfare,individual growth and development,team atmosphere,work itself.(3)The three work factors of working condition,democratic management and employee care have no obvious influence on IT enterprise staffs' job satisfaction and its two dimensions.(4)There are significant differences in the influence of employee characteristics on the staff job satisfaction of IT enterprises.The result of study shows that there are significant differences in overall job satisfaction between different years of work,wages and work position;there are significant differences in intrinsic job satisfaction between different years of work,wages and work position;there are significant differences in extrinsic job satisfaction between different years of work,wages,educational background and work position.(5)Based on the factors that affect the job satisfaction of IT employees,this paper develops strategies and suggestions for improving the job satisfaction of IT employees.This article mainly proposes countermeasures and suggestions from the four aspects of salary and benefits,personal growth and development,team atmosphere and work itself which includes improving the remuneration and welfare system,improving the training and growth mechanism that accommodates the development of qualified personnel,strengthening the construct of technical team atmosphere,enhancing the staff's satisfaction with the job itself.
