Research On Supplier Performance Management Of V Company

Scientific and reasonable supplier performance management system is the key for an enterprise to improve supplier performance and establish win-win supplier relationship for maintaining and enhancing market competitiveness power.There are a lot of researches on supplier performance management,but most of them are aimed at manufacture enterprises,very a few are focused on medium and small-sized transnational trading company.This thesis takes V company as research case to make a tentative research on supplier performance management of small-sized transnational trading company.Based on relevant theories about supplier performance management,this thesis makes detailed analysis on supplier performance management deficiencies of V company,including performance assessment result deviation from supplier`s real situation,supplier performance having not been improved obviously,supplier relationship having not been improved obviously.In view of the causes of deficiencies,the thesis offers exact improvement schemes on supplier performance management of V Company,including supplier performance assessment organization,process,indexes system,objective and supplier management after performance assessment.According to the evaluation on improved supplier performance management through actual operation,assessment result correctly reflects supplier performance situation,both supplier performance and supplier relationship of V company has been improved obviously.The research results of this thesis not only have important guiding significance to improve supplier performance management of V company,but also have a positive reference for other types of medium and small-sized companies to enhance supplier performance management.
