Research On Evaluation And Promotion Of Social Responsibility Of Postal Savings Bank Of China

Under the background of increasing more complex economic situation at home and abroad,commercial bank plays important role in the financial economy.With a wide range of social resources,the state-owned commercial bank bears a significa nt function of resource allocation.Postal savings bank of China owns the largest n umber of customers and the most widely covered network,which has great social i nfluence.The state also endows Postal savings bank of China with the important f unction of serving the community and helping the poor.Therefore,it is necessary t o research social responsibility of the postal savings bank of China.What is more,this paper tries to put forward social responsibility evaluation system of postal sav ings bank of China.Through analyzing social responsibility of postal savings bank of china,finding out the problems and reasons,this paper make suggestions on im proving social responsibility of postal savings bank of China.This thesis uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative method.Accordin g to the evaluation of social responsibility of the enterprise and social bank and ba sed on the stakeholder theory,the stakeholders of Postal savings bank of China are shareholders,employees,customers,regulators,government,society and environme nt.Then,the analysis of stakeholders' rights determines social responsibility which Postal savings bank of China should bears.Based on the evaluation system of ente rprises and commercial banks' social responsibility at home and abroad,the evaluat ion system of social responsibility for postal savings bank of China has been work ed out.And there are 7 first grade indexes and 14 second level indexes.Taking th e social responsibility report released by China Postal Savings Bank in 2012-2016 as the data source,we find out its good performance on government,employee an d environment,but the performance on regulators and society are not good enough.Then,this article puts forward some suggestions on strengthening responsibility con sciousness,increasing services for agriculture,rural areas and farmers,investment in precise poverty alleviation,philanthropy,vigorously developing green finance,and providing high-quality financial products and services.
