The Development Of Farmers' Specialized Co-operatives In Weifang City,Shandong Province

Farmers' specialized co-operatives have been developing for nearly a hundred years in our country,which has played an important role in promoting the development of rural economy and improving the living standard of peasants.Since the promulgation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Specialized Farmers Co-operatives in 2006,various types of co-operatives have been established nationwide.In December 2017,the law on farmers' specialized co-operatives was revised to further adjust the legal scope of co-operatives,regulate the behavior of co-operatives and increase the relevant provisions of the co-operative association.In the future,co-operatives will still have an enormous effect to the rural economy.Nonetheless,the relevant regulations and models will be further improved and contribute to China's economic development.The city of Weifang,as an agricultural development city,had established a huge amount of co-operatives since the last decades.Because of that,the agricultural development of Weifang has been promoting in various forms.However,as the development of peasant specialized co-operatives is still in its growing stage,there is not only the beneficial part but also a series of problems emerge in the process of development.Therefore,the registration and operation of co-operatives should have more attention.By referring the background of the existing literature,which is the development of China's farmers' specialized co-operatives history review,this thesis will analysis both external and internal reasons of the co-operative development.Also,The thesis will research the agriculture situation in Weifang.At first,it describe the rural co-operative organization's developing process and the current situation in Weifang.Next,list and analysis the problems that still existing in the development.Lastly,according to the case from abroad,the thesis will conclude several suggestions for Weifang co-operatives development.This thesis is divided into five chapters.In the introduction of the first chapter,the research background and research purpose of this paper are expounded.The posted research achievements in China will be summarized in it.The second chapter is focus on the theoretical basis and historical evolution of farmers' specialized co-operatives,elaborates the theoretical basis of co-operative produce.Nonetheless,this chapter reviews the development and transformation of co-operative system at domestic and overseas.The third chapter in the perspective of Weifang development of farmers' specialized co-operatives,in contrast co-operatives of related policies in China and the achievement,on the basis of historical development of farmers' specialized co-operatives of Weifang,and sums up the characteristics of Weifang co-operative construction and organization form,analysis of Weifang's achievements,and points out existing problems.The fourth chapter focuses on the successful cases and inspirations of foreign countries,combing several foreign co-operative development models,and summarizes the content of the reference through comparative research on China's national conditions.The fifth chapter in Weifang the development countermeasures of farmers' specialized co-operatives,combined with the content of chapter 3 and chapter 4,sustainable development,to the health of the Weifang farmers' specialized co-operatives puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.
