The Advantages And Challenges Of China's Silk Road Economic Belt Construction In Central Aisa

During the visit to Central Asian countries in September 2013,Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the great idea of building a Silk Road Economic Belt across Europe and Asia for the first time.Because of its overall stable political situation,key position,good cooperation basis with China and abundant energy resources,Central Asian countries have become the key areas in the early stage of Silk Road Economic Belt construction.Since the initiative was pushed forward,a better early harvest has been achieved.Under the background of the Silk Road Economic Belt,China's cooperation with Central Asia will play an important role in expanding China's strategic space,Safeguarding border security and ensuring energy security.Further research on challenges in cooperation is of great significance for us to propose appropriate countermeasures and fully tap the potential of Central Asian countries in promoting the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt.The thesis is divided into three parts.The background and connotation of the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative,the comparative advantages and strategic significance of the initiative in the promotion of Central Asia,the challenges faced by China's Central Asian cooperation and China's coping strategies are analyzed and elaborated.The final part summarizes the full text: China's cooperation with Central Asia not only enables both sides to develop economically and culturally,but also makes China achieve important breakthroughs in expanding strategic space,safeguarding frontier security and ensuring energy security.China is working together with Central Asia to build the Silk Road Economic Belt.It not only has the advantages of transportation infrastructure,but also has complementary economic and trade structure,profound cultural exchanges and relying on SCO platform and other advantages,so that the prospect of bilateral cooperation is broad.However,the initiative in Central Asia has obvious advantages.Meanwhile,in the process of construction,it also faces challenges such as big country factors,severe security situation,poor trade and investment environment,and initiatives and image recognition errors.We need to enhance regional security capacity building,strategically push forward cooperation with Central Asia,actively connect Russia's leading Eurasian Economic Alliance and properly hedge the negative aspects of the US strategy,and further promote the deepening of China's Central Asian cooperation.
