Development Of Ramie Textile

On the basis of previous studies on botanical botany and pharmaceutical application of ramie,this article studied the changes of ancient ramie textile technology and the history of ramie textiles from the perspective of textile by studying books and literatures on ancient textile technology history,unearthed cultural relics and local chronicles.According to the status of ramie textile in hand industrial production,the Chinese ancient history is divided into six stages to discuss the development of ramie products.The changing history of the origin of ramie,the method of degumming,the ramie textile machinery and the use of the ramie textile in different classes were studied in detail.The historical span of this study is from the appearance of the textile civilization to the end of the Qing Dynasty.Ramie is recognized in common "China grass" at all times and in all countries,the historical development of ramie textile not only helps to promote the China textile culture characteristics,to enhance people's cultural identity and heritage with the national characteristics of textile and intangible cultural heritage,it has realistic significance to the development of green technology and green textiles.The unearthed cultural relics are difficult to obtain,in this paper,the main research methods for reading a large number of ancient agricultural books,books,visit the Museum of cultural relics of ramie,modern manually ramie production place and machine production of ramie cloth field.The first textile fiber used by mankind is Ge fiber,followed by hemp fiber.For Zhou Dai's cultivation and textile performance,ancient Chinese people have a clear cognition of ramie fiber from Zhou dynasty.In the pre Qin period,due to the lack of textiles and centralization of power,fine ramie textiles were mainly in the hands of the rulers.In the Qin and Han Dynasties,because of the increase of population and the improvement and popularization of textile technology,the fine ramie fabrics were still used in the ruling class,but the rich merchants already had the economic strength to use it.During the Sui and Tang Dynasties,ramie became the most important raw material for textile fiber,and the relatively rough ramie textile has gone to the ordinary working people.In the Song Dynasty,cotton has been planted,which and hemp have become the main material for the working masses.In the Yuan Dynasty,hemp has lost its dominant position in the textile fiber raw materials,instead of cotton.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,there is a large textile boom,the ramie textile continued to develop in Jiangxi,Zhejiang,Fujian and other places in south of China.The development of ramie textile technology is mainly reflected in the development and progress of degumming technology,spinning machine tools,weaving machines and fabric finishing.The degumming technology developed from retting in Zhou Dynasty,ash or lime water alkaline degumming in Han Dynasty,to semi drying half retting in Song Dynasty.Spinning machines developed from Spinning Wheel to Hand Reeling Machine to Hydraulic Spinning Wheel.Spindle numbers from single spindle to multiple spindles and finally to 32 spindles.The weaving loom is from the Primitive loom to the inclined loom until the "small cloth lying machine" formed in the Song Dynasty.Ramie can not only be used as clothing and household textiles,but also can be used in parachute,safety rope and so on because of its strong fabric strength.The study of the use of ancient ramie is of great significance to full use of ramie's performance in modern times.The development of ramie textile technology is not only a process of Chinese unique textile culture,but also a microcosm of the history of textile technology in ancient China.This paper focuses on the development of ramie textiles,which can directly reflect the maturity and popularity of ramie textile technology.
