With the rapid development of China's economy and the improvement of the people's living standards,the awareness of insurance is also increasing,and the rapid development of insurance has been promoted,and the competition of the insurance industry is becoming increasingly fierce.A complete and standardized performance appraisal system can help employees improve their sense of responsibility,constantly improve their performance level,and enhance their competitiveness.There is a big gap between the exploration and practical application of the performance assessment in China's insurance industry with the developed countries.The performance assessment is in the initial stage,and the assessment method is not mature enough.Although performance appraisal has begun to be widely applied,there are still many shortcomings.For example,the performance appraisal work has no definite directivity,the form of assessment work is relatively single,the actual manipulation is poor,and the index design is unreasonable.This leads to the formality of performance appraisal,which makes the performance appraisal lose its essential meaning.The performance appraisal system of the Chinese insurance company has been improved and improved since its founding,but it has not yet achieved the expected effect in encouraging the staff and improving the performance of the enterprise,and still needs to be improved.This paper aims to improve the overall management level of the company by analyzing the shortcomings of the performance appraisal system of the Chinese insurance company and reconstructing it.In this paper,the methods of normative research and thematic research are used to systematically analyze the existing research in related fields both at home and abroad,and to establish research ideas and contents.Based on the theory of performance management,incentive theory,relationship performance theory and other related basic theories,the present situation of the performance appraisal system of China Insurance Company is analyzed and studied.Through the reading of relevant performance appraisal literature at home and abroad,the Chinese insurance company is found to be a state-owned enterprise,and it lacks the assessment of the state-owned assets,and the related performance evaluation indexes are not perfect.In order to make the performance appraisal system play its due role,a new financial performance appraisal system is designed based on the actual situation of the company.The contents include the principles and objectives of financial performance appraisal,the selection of assessment indicators,the determination of index weight,the assessment criteria and scoring rules.In order to achieve the target of the assessment,this paper reconstructs the performance appraisal system of the company,and also provides the guarantee measures for the effective implementation of the performance appraisal system and the matters to be paid attention to in the implementation.
