With the reform and opening up,Chinese insurance industry has developed rapidly.As China is further opening to the outside world,foreign-funded insurance companies have entered the Chinese insurance market one after another.Chinese insurance companies are under great competitive pressure.Domestic insurance companies need to upgrade their core competitiveness and cope with increasing fierce competition in the insurance market.Nowadays human resources are one of the most important resources in the world.,and performance appraisal is an effective mechanism for enterprises to motivate employees which is an important work in the human resource management system of the enterprises.The employee's value and work performance are justly measured and reasonably motivated to ensure that all employees maintain a sustained and enthusiastic work enthusiasm.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the performance appraisal and incentive mechanism of enterprises.This article takes the performance appraisal of the business personnel in Yancheng NA insurance company as the research object and discusses how to improve the performance of the appraisal system in the company.At the same time,this article designs a set of effective appraisal system.The thesis firstly summarizes the research status quo at home and abroad.Then it analyzes the status quo and existing problems of the performance assessment of business personnel of Yancheng NA Insurance Company.It is believed that the current performance appraisal of the company has problems such as not paying attention to the performance plan,unreasonable index design,imperfect incentive mechanism and unstandardized assessment procedure,etc.After combining the needs of company development strategy and enterprise management,based on the post responsibilities,appraisal index,rewards and punishment mechanisms,staff training and other aspects,this article targeted puts forward specific measures to improve the performance appraisal system and focuses on analyzing the performance appraisal content and determines the performance appraisal Indicators;Finally it proposes measures to improve the business personnel evaluation system,including the creation atmosphere,construction of the environment,application of results,feedback mechanisms and other specific measures,and it is expected that the research results of this paper will serve as the reference for Chinese insurance industry to improve the performance appraisal of business personnel.
