Research On The Investment Efficiency Evaluation Of ERP Project

As a tool of enterprise management,ERP system plays a very important role in business process and resource utilization,which can help enterprises to improve management efficiency,improve enterprise competitiveness and improve enterprise performance.In china from the end of 20th century also began to import ERP system,from the headquarters of foreign-funded enterprises in China to promote the application of enterprise,and then to large-scale implementation of ERP,private enterprise ERP investment,has been large-scale application to many enterprises.Due to different types of ERP software,ERP software implementation of the company's different,project implementation of different methods,as well as the different enterprise size,resulting in ERP project investment resources vary greatly,output results are relatively large.Is China's enterprise ERP investment benefits,investment efficiency effective?The research of this problem is of great significance for scientific understanding of ERP investment value,improving the scientific decision of investment and promoting the development of ERP industry.This paper first constructs the evaluation Index system of ERP project investment benefit,chooses the typical sample of different output characteristics of the same ERP software investment to evaluate the ERP project investment benefit.Through literature research and analysis,the paper found that China's ERP investment efficiency evaluation and investment effectiveness evaluation is relatively segmented.Lack of a set of benefit evaluation system,there is no analysis and evaluation of the same ERP software investment efficiency,but also lack of different ERP software investment efficiency analysis and evaluation research.The construction of ERP investment benefit Index and investment efficiency evaluation are very necessary.According to the theory and practice of ERP investment benefit,this paper sums up two kinds of indexes of ERP management benefit(Non financial benefit)and financial benefit.This paper uses Delphi method,Analytic hierarchy process,fuzzy evaluation method and other benefit evaluation methods as well as by investigating the enterprise senior management people,enterprise key users,ERP industry experts,according to the principles and steps of Delphi method to determine the impact of the ERP investment benefits factors.Finally set up a comprehensive index system including Non-financial benefit and financial benefit.Then,based on the evaluation index of ERP investment benefit,the paper screened the typical sample enterprise as a sample,and compared its investment Non-financial benefit and financial benefit.Finally,the DEA model used to analyze the financial efficiency of ERP project investment and the comprehensive efficiency of ERP project investment.The results show that the management efficiency score is higher than that of smallscale enterprises with the same type of largescale enterprise.Foreign invested company and state-owned enterprise Non-financial benefit score is relatively high,compared with private enterprises performance,but the same size difference is not small.From the financial benefit point of view,private enterprises have a slight advantage,but with foreign capital and state-owned enterprises is very small difference.Generally speaking the same type of large-scale enterprises in the Non-financial efficiency and financial benefits is better than small and medium-sized performance.From the point of view of investment efficiency,the financial efficiency of ERP project investment in China is generally 0.689,the main reason comes from the pure technology efficiency(the lack of effective utilization of investment resources)and scale efficiency(the mismatch between input and enterprise size),but mainly due to the scale factor.The comprehensive investment efficiency results reached an excellent score of 0.889.From the enterprise type,the investment efficiency of private enterprises of the same scale is better than that of foreign capital and state-owned enterprises.At the end of this paper,we suggest the project investment efficiency could be optimized from the aspects of software selection,implementation method arrangement and personnel arrangement etc.
