This article selects 27 subdivided industries in China's manufacturing industry as the object of inspection, and further divides them into labor-intensive,capital-intensive,and technology-intensive industries according to factor density. The SFA model was constructed to use the input-output and technical non-efficiency data of each sub-industry from 2005 to 2016 to measure the annual technical efficiency value of 27 specific sub-sectors in China and the average technical efficiency value of the three major industries. On this basis,we will explore the direction and extent of the impact of current factor price changes on the technical efficiency of the three major categories of industries. The study found that:(1)During the period under review, the rate of increase in the price of labor factors in China was significantly faster than the rate of increase in the price of capital factors, and the ratio of elements showed a rising trend;(2)During the inspection period, the technical efficiency levels of China's three major industries Both show an upward trend, but the increase is limited. In general, the technological efficiency of technology-intensive industries is slightly higher than that of capital-intensive industries, but it is significantly higher than that of labor-intensive industries.(3)The rise in factor prices has significantly promoted the improvement of the technical efficiency of the three major industries. At the same time, from the size of the coefficient's coefficient of return,it can be concluded that the factor price has the most obvious effect on the promotion of labor-intensive manufacturing technology efficiency, followed by capital-intensive and finally technology-intensive;(4)on the remaining explanatory variables,SFA The results of analysis and panel Tobit analysis are basically consistent. For labor-intensive industries, industry performance has a significant positive effect on the improvement of technical efficiency, and market structure,R&D intensity, nationalization, human resources, and FDI are not significant.Significantly, for capital-intensive industries, market structure, industry performance, degree of nationalization, and human resources have a significant positive effect on the improvement of technical efficiency, while FDI has a significant negative effect, and R&D intensity has no significant effect; For technology-intensive industries, industry performance,R&D intensity, and human resources have a significant positive effect on the improvement of technical efficiency, while market structure, nationalization, and FDI have no significant effect.Based on the above research results, this paper proposes the following policy recommendations:(1)At present,we must correctly handle the relationship between technological innovation and technological efficiency;(2)Rationally recognize the fact that the elemental price ratio is rising, and further promote the reform of factor marketization, especially The labor market allows the wage level of laborers to truly match their true marginal productivity levels.(3)From the point of view of the overall technological efficiency of the manufacturing industry,labor-intensive industries as the main breakthrough can bring about an increase in “quantity”.Taking technology-intensive industries as the main breakthrough can bring about the improvement of “quality”;(4)Flexibly using internal and external environments to improve the technical efficiency level of different types of industries, and focusing on improving the vital interests of labor for labor-intensive industries. The wage level,in particular, allows workers to widely share industry performance and stimulate work enthusiasm;for capital-intensive industries, the degree of nationalization is moderately increased, talents are trained, and excessive accumulation of foreign capital is avoided;for technology-intensive industries In terms of furthering the reform of the household registration system,The market-oriented mechanism for the flow of high-quality talents has focused on cultivating talents. To create a good R&D environment and provide preferential policies for financial support, talent introduction, exchange learning, etc.for R&D of such industries.
