Research On The Impacts Of Producer Services FDI On The Manufacturing Efficiency Of Our Country

As an independent development emerging industry from the manufacturing service sector,producer services play a decisive role to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing and sustainable economic development of our country.With more and more foreign enterprises investment in producer services in our country,then it has important significance to study the internal mechanism between producer services Foreign Direct Investment(FDI)and manufacturing efficiency so that it can effectively improve the manufacturing efficiency.Based on the panel data of six kinds of producer services FDI and nineteen kinds of manufacturing from 2006 to 2015,this paper uses transaction cost and innovation ability as the intermediate variables,then adapts intermediary effect to analyze the internal mechanism between producer services FDI and manufacturing efficiency.Firstly,this paper gives a review of this scientific inquiry literature,then the internal mechanism between producer services FDI and manufacturing efficiency is analyzed by using theories and models.Secondly,this paper builds a DEA model,using the data envelopment analysis(DEA),and then selecting manufacturing sales value as output variables,the annual average employee number,current assets and fixed assets capital stock as input variables,then calculated manufacturing efficiency by using DEAP2.1,and then using it to analyze the development situation of manufacturing industry and its subdivision industry.Thirdly,this paper establishes a three-step measurement model according to the mediation effect inspection procedure,and EViews8.0 is adopted to empirically examine the internal mechanism between producer services FDI and our country's manufacturing efficiency,the results show that producer services FDI can improve manufacturing efficiency by transaction cost and innovation ability;different producer services FDI can improve manufacturing efficiency by transaction cost,but there are some differences between different industries;only information transmission,computer services and software industry FDI can improve manufacturing efficiency by innovation ability;producer services FDI can improve different factor intensive manufacturing efficiency,but it still has difference.Finally,in order to effectively improve manufacturing efficiency,this paper put forward some related policy suggestion.
