In recent years, the level of domestic consumption has increased substantially, and the structure of food consumption has changed.Residents' food consumption patterns have changed from survival type to enjoyment type.High quality, safety, and nutrition are the primary considerations for residents to choose food.Eggs have always been one of the most nutritious foods, and its rich protein can meet human health needs.Through the understanding of the level of egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province, the consumption situation is not optimistic. In the past ten years, the per capita egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province has declined slightly. The average per capita egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province for the past ten years is 11.06 kg,which is also a certain distance from the egg consumption target in the national food and nutrition development target in 2020.Therefore,further exploration of egg consumption behavior and influence of urban residents in Jilin Province The consumption factors have important implications for promoting egg consumption. In this paper, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis were used to study the level of egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province and the influencing factors.Chapters 2 and 3 provide a qualitative analysis of the egg production in Jilin Province and the data of urban residents' egg consumption. The results of the study indicate that the egg and poultry breeding industry in Jilin Province is in an advanced stage and the egg supply is sufficient;the egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province is on a downward trend;the per capita egg consumption in urban residents of Jilin Province is similar to the per capita disposable income.Compared with Hebei Province,Sichuan Province, and Ningxia Autonomous Region, they are at a relatively high level;the egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province is not as high as that of other foods;the egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province is quite different from that in rural areas.Towns are much higher than rural areas. The fourth chapter analyzes the time series data obtained and cross-sectional data obtained through field surveys and analyzes some possible egg consumption influencing factors. These factors include egg price index based on time-series data, meat price index, and urban households' households. The four factors of disposable income and age structure;based on survey data, the consumer's gender, age, occupation, education status, family size, household income, whether or not the family lives with the child, and the egg purchase price Factors. The research results show that the disposable income of urban households has a positive effect on the egg consumption of urban residents in Jilin Province, but the impact is small;the older the consumer, the smaller the consumption of eggs;the more households have more eggs for consumers. The larger the consumption, the longer the family has an elderly person to live together. This factor has an impediment to egg consumption;families with children living together have a positive effect on egg consumption.Suggestions for this are as follows: It is recommended that egg farmers keep abreast of market dynamics, adjust the scale of farming, and reduce production costs. It is recommended that egg production and processing companies increase R&D investment, develop new egg products, and stimulate the consumption of processed egg products. It is recommended that egg retailers pay attention to the quality and safety of eggs, and take appropriate promotional activities. It is recommended that government departments increase enterprise support, strengthen supervision during circulation, and ensure egg product quality and safety.Actively promote employment and increase the labor income of urban residents.
