At present,the global economic model is changing,China's economic structure is further adjusted,and the financial environment has undergone profound changes.The traditional development model of China's joint-stock commercial banks that has lasted for decades has been difficult to sustain.All joint-stock commercial banks are actively responding to new challenges in the development of power,development tools,and development methods.Corporate culture,as the soul and spirit formed by a company in the long-term development process,has become a competitive soft power factor that outstanding financial enterprises have focused on in the new round of development.Shanghai Pudong Development Bank is a national joint-stock bank headquartered in Shanghai.It currently has 41 tier-one branches and more than 1,800 business offices in the country,with more than 50,000 employees.Since its establishment in 1993,Shanghai Pudong Development Bank has experienced four adjustments and optimizations in its corporate culture.The development of the 25-year period has always been inseparable from the promotion of the corporate culture core.In the new round of development strategy planning of the bank,it clearly proposed a new direction of transformation and development,which puts a new task for the development and management of corporate culture of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank;however,the current cultural system cannot fully meet the new strategic needs.It is urgent to update the cultural system to meet the needs of the development of the situation and to provide a strong cultural guarantee for the implementation of the Pudong Development Strategy.This article takes Shanghai Pudong Development Bank's corporate culture construction process and current situation as a sample case,and has reviewed the bank's four changes in corporate culture since its establishment 25 years ago,and conducted an in-depth analysis of the background and effectiveness of each evolution.In the study of the formation and evolution of Pudong Development Bank's corporate culture and the intrinsic link between the development process of Pudong Development Bank and the corporate culture,it was found that Shanghai Pudong Development Bank chose to revise and optimize the corporate culture when it encountered a bottleneck in every business development.Through the connotation drive,the whole bank adapts to the new development environment.On the basis of the inheritance and sublation of the original culture,this paper combines the new strategic requirements,adapts to the new situation,optimizes and innovates the cultural system,and proposes a new,complete and detailed system plan,including a new mission,vision,The value system,entrepreneurial spirit,organizational atmosphere,employee image and brand proposition,and put forward the next step of implementing the corporate culture of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.
