After more than 30 years of reform and opening,a large amount of minor enterprises have emerged in China and they have become an important force to support China's national economy.According to research,data shows that minor enterprises contribute to more than 65% of China's GDP,more than 50% of tax revenue,more than 68% of China's export and hire more than 75% of China's employees(data of 2015).With China's economic growth,consumption continues to heat up,the industrial competition has become more brutal,and customers' requirements on products are also increasing.Meanwhile,with the emergence and improvement of customer's quality awareness,the industrial competition is getting diversified.In order to adapt to this kind of new situation,enterprises should tap the potentials and try to achieve competitive excellence,and constant improvement on product quality and service quality is an effective way of achieving competitive excellence.S company was established in 2011,focusing on LBS services.After a fast expanding in sales,S company is now facing several problems such as poor product quality;growing customer complaints,etc.In 2013,S company got its ISO 9000 certification,and the quality management was improved.But according to customer audit results and customer complaints,the quality management of S company still needs to be improved.In this paper,we choose the improvement of quality management of S as an example to study the quality management issues that minor enterprises have to face in the fierce competition.First,we analyze the status quo of S company and find the root causes as: poor quality awareness of management team;poor training and poor quality cultural construction.Then we propose the improvement solutions.In the end we verify the effectiveness of the improvement solutions.The concepts of ISO and TQ are throughout the whole researching process.It is hoped that the study in this paper can be a reference for the improvement of quality management system in minor enterprises.
