Research On The Development Strategy Of SP Company

SP company is a Taiwanese background company,and specializes in the field of 3C coatings research and development.Established factory in 2002 in Kunshan,SP serves global customers through extensive technical knowledge and industry expertise.SP has reached strategic cooperation with many famous electronic manufacturers,and become the designated supplier.In recent years,due to the rise in raw material of chemical industry,the downstream demand reduction,government policies,and the firm-specific characteristics,SP is facing the serious test.The aim of choosing SP development strategy as the research topic is:using the strategic development theory to formulate the scientific strategies and clear its own orientation and development goals of the next few years.In the process of demonstrating,this paper mainly uses theoretical research and empirical analysis.The paper reviewed the basic theory of enterprise development strategy,analyzed the enterprise’s survival and competitive environment with using PEST models and Porter’s five strength models.After that,we proceed to use the ’resource,ability,and core competitiveness’ analytical framework to analyze the internal environment.Finally,we used the SWOT model to analyze and formulate the company’s development strategies,and we also put forward measures on these strategies.The innovation of this paper lies in:first,using two kinds of strategic thinking,we analyzed the overall strategy from the perspective of the cognitive view,and discussed the implementation of the strategy from the perspective of process.Second,we used the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate SP company’s internal and external strategic elements,and find out the SP advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges.After that,we used the SWOT model to select the overall development strategy.
