As an essential tool in tire production,the quality of tire capsule will directly determine the tire quality and its service life.According to the current domestic situation,the production automation of tire capsules in China is low,the level of information is low,and the precision of curing temperature control is poor,all of these will seriously affect the quality of tire capsules produced.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the automation level and the information degree of capsule production,and optimize the production process control strategy.Based on the industrial background of a tire capsule factory,this paper studies the structure and working process of the tire capsule vulcanizing machine through field investigation on the spot of the capsule vulcanization.On this basis,the concrete solutions and control objectives are put forward in combination with the problems in the production process of the original vulcanization control system.First,according to the technological requirements of tire capsule vulcanization production,the overall design of vulcanization control system was carried out.The whole system takes the Distributed Control System as the design framework,mainly includes the field collection layer,the field control layer and the monitoring management layer.Through various specific communication protocols to achieve the entire control system between the different levels of information exchange,and in order to realize the automatic control of vulcanization process,the corresponding control program is written to the lower computer of the field control layer.Second,curing temperature and curing time are the key factors to affect the quality of tire capsule.The Arrhenius equation is satisfied between the curing temperature and the curing time,so long as the exact control of the vulcanization temperature is realized,the vulcanization time can be deduced by using the Arrhenius equation.Due to the hysteresis and time-varying of vulcanization temperature,conventional PID control is unable to meet the precise requirements for its control.In this paper,combined with the characteristics of Fuzzy control theory and according to the actual situation of vulcanization site,Fuzzy controller is selected as the main controller of curing temperature control system.By comparing the control effect of conventional PID control and Fuzzy control with MATLAB simulation,it is concluded that Fuzzy control has better control effect on vulcanization temperature,and this controller is applied to practical production.Then,the construction of information monitoring platform for capsule production is based on KingView6.55.The monitoring platform mainly realizes real-time on-line monitoring ofproduction parameters,abnormal alarm of production and prescription setting function of capsule production specifications.The SQL Server 2005 database is used to store the vulcanization parameters and the Dephi7.0 is used to complete the query of the vulcanization information.Finally,the tire capsule vulcanization control system was applied to practice,which realized the automatic control of the capsule production process,especially the control of curing temperature and curing time.At the same time,the host computer can record,store and query the information of each vulcanizing equipment(action status,vulcanization parameter,etc.),which guarantees the retrospective of the product.In addition,it can also standardize the production operation to improve the quality and yield of the capsule.
