Research On The Benefits Of China-Myanmar Natural Gas Pipeline To The Development Of Southwestern Ethnic Region

Actively promoting the acceleration and transformation of economic development in western ethnic areas is an important topic in the field of national economics.It is also an important factor related to whether China can achieve the goal of "two one hundred years".China Myanmar oil and gas pipeline is the fourth largest energy channel in China,and is an important part of the national energy strategy.It has a long-term significance to promote the economic and social transformation and development in the western regions of China,especially in the southwest ethnic areas,including Yunnan.In this thesis,the China Myanmar gas pipeline section of Qujing as the research object,on the basis of on-the-spot investigation,inspects the China Myanmar gas pipeline production on the benefits of economic and social development of Yunnan in Qujing city by applying the theories of national economics,regional economics,development economics,has far-reaching significance in theory and reality.On the basis of making full use of previous research results,this study takes the Qujing section of China Myanmar natural gas pipeline as the research object,with its various benefits to Qujing’s economic and social development as its research contents.The introduction part mainly introduces the background and significance of this study,the research trend and the theoretical basis,the research method,the research framework and the innovation points.On the basis of regional economic analysis,the first chapter discusses the important value of China Myanmar natural gas pipeline to promote the development of Southwest China’s ethnic areas,especially Yunnan Province in terms of energy construction,infrastructure construction and economic restructuring.The second chapter expounds the significance of China and Myanmar natural gas pipeline on promoting the development of Qujing from three aspects of economic,social and ecological benefits.The third chapter quantitatively analyzed and compared the natural gas utilization efficiency of Qujing with quantitative analysis method,and summarized the reasons for the low utilization rate of Qujing natural gas in China and Myanmar.The fourth chapter puts forward suggestions on how to improve the utilization rate of Qujing section of China Myanmar natural gas pipeline in terms of infrastructure construction,industrial transformation and upgrading,and policy support system.The main research results of this thesis focus on the following aspects:first,from the level of economic development,the China Myanmar gas pipeline can directly promote the optimization of energy structure in Qujing City,promote the adjustment of industrial structure,promote the transformation of the mode of growth,improve the level of urbanization and foreign Unicom;secondly,from the aspect of social development,the China Myanmar gas pipeline can improve Qujing City,the proportion of clean energy,promote the garden city construction,promote employment,improve income poverty,reduce the cost of living,improve production and living security;finally,from the ecological perspective,the China Myanmar gas pipeline can effectively reduce waste emissions in Qujing City,optimizing the ecological environment construction,promote energy conservation,construction of modem energy system.Compared with other cities along China Myanmar natural gas pipeline,the utilization rate of natural gas in Qujing is still lower than that of other cities along China Myanmar natural gas pipeline.The contradiction between the change of energy structure and the long-term economic structure in Qujing is the fundamental reason for the low utilization of natural gas in Qujing.In addition,the construction of infrastructure is incomplete,the social awareness of natural gas is low,and the price advantage of natural gas market is not outstanding,and it is also the important reason.The main innovation of this thesis lies in the following points:one is the development of the implementation of the national energy strategy and the southwest ethnic areas of economic and social combination;two is the impact of social economic development in the minority areas of focus on the change of energy structure;three is the five development concept as a guide,correctly handle the relationship between the China Myanmar gas pipeline three major benefits.
