According to the revamping requirement of energy-saving and consumption-reducing for cracking furnace of ethylene plant of Jilin Petrochemical Company about 700,000 tons/a,the convection section and quench boiler system of F0101 cracking furnace of the original cracking unit will be revamped to reduce the flue gas temperature of the cracking furnace,increase the thermal efficiency of the cracking furnace and increase the high-pressure steam output of the cracking furnace so as to reach the target.To save energy and reduce consumption.This paper expounds various types of cracking furnaces at present,and then on the basis of analyzing the structure,energy saving principle and design process of convection section module and quench boiler of F0101 cracking furnace in Jilin Petrochemical Ethylene Plant,extracts and analyzes the key parameters of cracking furnace according to the working characteristics of ethylene cracking furnace,and designs the corresponding transformation of convection section module.Conditions and key parameters,and put forward and optimize the transformation plan of convection section and quench boiler.The scheme includes adding FPH in the preheating section of raw materials,replacing waste heat boilers with larger heat exchange area of the same type,elevating the installation height of the drum,reforming the corresponding rising and falling pipes and their spring hangers,replacing the upper two rows of heat exchanger pipes in the lower superheated section,and chemical cleaning the outer surface of the convective section pipes.Through the calibration data of the retrofit cracking furnace,the advantages and disadvantages of the retrofit are analyzed and compared.The reformed cracking furnace has been put into operation with good operation effect and remarkable energy-saving and consumption-reducing effect,which proves that the technology is practical and reliable,effectively reduces the maintenance cost of cracking furnace,effectively improves the efficiency of cracking furnace,and achieves the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction.
