Polyester microfibers not only have the characteristics of ordinary chemical fiber,but also have soft,fluffy and other special styles,which have better washability,dimensional stability and strength than natural fibers.However,due to the special structure of the microfiber,there are also many problems in the dyeing.As the same amount of dye,the polyester microfiber has a low apparent color depth and poor dyeing fastness.The dyeing problem of polyester microfibers has attracted more and more researchers'attention.Different treatment methods were used in this literature to improve the dyeing properties of polyester microfibers.First,the dope coloring method was used to color the spinning solution using disperse blue FNS and acid brilliant blue G.We prepared polyester nanofibers membrane by electrospinning.The effect of drawing treatment and annealing treatment on the dyeing properties of polyester fiber was investigated.The polyester was then modified with wool keratin and the dyeing properties of the keratin-modified stock solution colored polyester fiber were analyzed.Finally,the post-dyeing process of polyester/keratin nanofiber membrane was explored,and the best post-dyeing process was obtained by changing the content of keratin,the dyeing temperature and the type of dye.The results show that it is difficult to obtain fibers with high crystal orientation,large crystal grains and low amorphous regions oriented supramolecular structure by drawing treatment.The annealing treatment can effectively change the aggregate microstructure of the polyester fiber and increase the apparent crystallinity and crystallite size of the fiber.The anti-soap fastness and perspiration fastness of the polyester nanofibers membrane after annealing treatment can reach 4 grades.When the polyester is modified with wool keratin,the addition of keratin reduces the diameter of the fiber,and the diameter distribution tends to a Gaussian distribution.Moreover,the hydrophilicity of the nanofibers membrane was improved.Polyester and keratin can be completely compatible and form a homogeneous phase until the keratin content is higher than 20%.The apparent color depth of the nanofibers membrane was maximized using a compound dye with blue FNS:acid brilliant blue G=1:1.The anti-soap fastness and perspiration fastness can reach 4 grades,when the light fastness can only reach 2 grades.When exploring the polyester/keratin nanofibers membrane post-dyeing process,it can be seen from the dyeing rate curve that the increase of keratin content accelerated the adsorption of acid dye by the nanofibers,and the apparent color depth of the sample also becomes large by increasing the dyeing temperature.The most desirable dyeing temperature is 90 °C.After the modification by keratin,the coloring mechanism of the nanofibers membrane was mainly the coloring of the keratin by the acid dye.The most ideal composite dye ratio is blue FNS:acid blue G=1:1.
