Preparation And Properties Of Rabbit Hair/tencel Blended Hollow Yarn

Hollow yarn has the advantages of light weight,softness,moisture absorption and air permeability.The textiles developed by this kind of yarn have unique handle and style,and their wearability has been further improved.It meets the consumer's demand for the practicability and functionality of clothing textiles.But at present,hollow yarn products are relatively single.The common type is cotton hollow yarn,while the development of wool hollow yarn is relatively less.Rabbit hair is one of the important raw materials of high-grade wool textiles,and the preparation of hollow yarn has not been reported.Therefore,the research and development of rabbit hair blended hollow yarn,the development of a high-grade close-fitting knitted underwear fabric.Good moisture and air permeability can be achieved while keeping warm.It can improve the development and application of wool spinning hollow yarn products and realize the diversified development of hollow yarn products.This subject takes into account the characteristics of small strength and poor cohesion of rabbit hair fibers.High strength and environmentally friendly Tencel fibers are selected as blends and PVA as companion or core yarns.Five kinds of porous yarn with rabbit hair ratio and five kinds of hollow yarn with core yarn content were developed.The effects of rabbit hair ratio,core yarn content and yarn structure on the properties of rabbit hair/tencel blended hollow yarn and knitted fabric were investigated.The research contents include the following aspects:(1)Through theoretical analysis of the PVA ratio of hollow yarn,it is concluded that the PVA ratio should not exceed 30%.The core yarn fineness is 3.4 tex?5.6 tex under the condition of ensuring the smooth spinning.Five kinds of rabbit hair blended yarns and five kinds of core-spun yarns were spun on compact spinning frame.Under the condition of constant temperature water at 30 C,the dimension was reduced for 20 minutes.Ten different hollow yarns were obtained.(2)The strength,elongation,evenness and hairiness of hollow yarn were tested and analyzed.The results show that the hairiness of the yarn is improved,and the mechanical properties and evenness of yarn evenness are decreased.The performance of hollow yarn is evaluated comprehensively by using the method of fuzzy mathematics.The results show that porous yarn with 55%rabbit hair and medium porous yarn with 25%core yarn have the best comprehensive properties.In the hollow yarn with the same ratio of raw materials,the comprehensive performance of medium-hole yarn is better than that of porous yarn.(3)The air permeability,moisture permeability,warmth retention and bursting strength of hollow yarn knitted fabrics were tested and analyzed.The results show that the air permeability,moisture permeability and warmth retention of the hollow yarn are improved,and the breaking strength of the fabric decreases slightly.The performance of hollow yarn knitted fabrics is evaluated comprehensively by means of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The results show that the comprehensive properties of porous yarn with 70%rabbit hair and medium porous yarn with 25%core yarn are the best.In the hollow yarn with the same proportion of raw materials,the comprehensive properties of medium-hole yarn knitted fabric are better than that of porous yarn.
